Backwater Brook is a very good property. I stayed twice in this property. The location is very finest near the river side. We can watch the flowing house boat in the river. The rooms are very very good especially in the first floor. Also the surroundings of the property is very appreciative. During my first stay there was no swimming pool. But, now they have built a very beautiful swimming pool. The food also very tasty. Overall the property is very good and the owner Mr.Shanej is very nice person.
The resort had a great ambience and some amazing staff. Very spacious and well maintained room with a neat washroom. The pool was an added relief. Overall it was amazing and worth the money.

Our recent stay at a Backwater Brook villa near Kumarakom Lake was absolutely memorable. The view from the villa was absolutely stunning, with the serene Kumarakom Lake stretching out right in front, creating a sense of tranquility that was truly magical. The cleanliness of the villa was exemplary. It was spotless and well-maintained, which added to the overall comfort and relaxation of the stay. It's clear that the management takes great pride in keeping the property in top-notch condition. What truly made this stay exceptional was the staff. They were not only attentive but incredibly helpful. Their warmth and willingness to assist with any request made me feel welcome and valued as a guest. From arranging local activities to providing insightful recommendations, their service was outstanding. Special mention for Ajaybhai who was very helpful and ever smiling! The culinary experience at the on-site restaurant was great too. The food was not only delicious but very reasonably priced. We had stayed in this property with family . Outstanding property overlooking the backwaters . The staff were exceptionally courteous and well mannered . Its having a well maintained pool . Rooms are well comfortable and well maintained . They served delicious food . Its also having awesome waterfront lawn . We all enjoyed the stay .
We booked the entire Villa for 2 nights for family and enjoyed the stay thoroughly. The Villa has ample space to play and park vehicle. It is also connected to backwaters and accessible to boat houses easily. Pros: 1. Quiet place, peaceful and serene 2. Back water views from rooms were amazing 3. Private pool with clean water 4. Activities such as Kayaking and Cycling within the premises 5. Friendly Staff (Special Mention to Mr. Gosh) Cons: 1. Accessibility to the place 2. We had this mid-sized boat to ourselves (a group of 4). It was nice mostly sunny day so we enjoyed the view from top. The crew were very friendly and navigated the boat at a nice leisurely pace. My wife even took a short nap in one of the bedrooms.

We absolutely loved our experience. We booked a 1 bedroom houseboat with A/C in the bedrooms. It was spacious and clean and the bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with an English toilet (no toilet paper only a water jet so take that if you need it!).
