Backpackers Sundarbans Eco-Village - Tourist attraction in Satjelia - 24 Paraganas South, India

One of the best Eco stays I have ever stayed in. The host was soo receptive and everyone who worked there was just pure joy. The food was according to our liking, the stay was warm, the hospitality amazing. Would return again and again just to calm my mind and be at peace once more.

Thank you for making by holidays so pleasing. Night safari is unforgettable. I am astonished with the hospitality of them. Local people welcome us and co-operate us very well. Over all experience is too good. Highly recommended.

Went for a weekend trip for 3 days, had such a nice, relaxing experience with great food. Thanks to our manager, Rajesh who was so nice and hospitable. Enjoyed our stay alot..will visit again.

It was really pleasant trip. So peacefull and soothing. Rajesh was really supportive and caring for the whole trip and made the trip good. The surpises they gave were also very lit.

My stay at the resort was a true delight. The resort's well-planned architecture seamlessly blended with the natural surroundings, creating a harmonious and tranquil atmosphere. I was impressed by the thoughtful incorporation of sustainable elements, which reflected a commitment to preserving the environment. The resort's structures appeared to emerge organically from the landscape, enhancing the overall sense of serenity. It was refreshing to experience a destination that not only provided comfort and relaxation but also maintained a strong connection to nature.

A friend of ours recommended Tour De Sunderbans during our Bengal visit. We usually steer clear of guided tours, so we weren't too sure about this one when we set off, but that quickly changed with each passing hour. Here's what I enjoyed: - Our guide Om bhai's charming hospitality - Our other guide Rajesh bhai's kindness - Our awe-inspiring conversations with the owner Rajesh bhai that displayed his passion for building such a sustainable abode and his desire to build the same experiences for his guests as his first few at Sunderban. - The local folk had the most kindest smiles, always willing to share a piece of their lives with us - We took an array of vehicles to get to Eco Village ranging from a jeep, two kinds of ferries/boats and a unique looking rickshaw weaving through the scenic routes of the islands - The rooms were cosy aesthetic huts made of clay and bamboo. - The food was delicious and always on-time. -The itinerary was well-curated and covers all the authenticities of this majestic place, from walking in the knee-deep clay of the mangroves during low-tide to safaris during high-tide. There's so much to explore here and as much as a 2-night 3-day stay was perfect for it all, I wish I could've stayed longer. Definitely coming back again for another shot at spotting a tiger during the safaris. 10/10 recommend this place for the immersive experience.
