Pros: It's a Houseboat with atleast one decent quality house boat (the left most one when you face it). Service was alright. Helpful people. Cons: Poor quality rooms - dirty linens, dirty stinky towels, damp floor, stinky bathrooms and worst part is the water was sooooooo dirty, we didn't even dare brush our teeth with it. We were curious if they were pumping Dal Lake water Overall, find some other habitable Houseboat

Worst experience I had. rooms were very old, they don't provide minimum toiletries and Trust me they rob you. I asked for a cab in the morning and Showkat the person Incharge asked for 2000. Actually 1000 was the fare and 1000 was his commission. After paying the commission also I had to beg him in the morning to drop me early. Airport was 15mts away. Try a better houseboat than Aziz.

I stayed two nights at Aziz Palace Houseboat Everything was nice. Me and my colleagues would surely choose it again next time we visit Aziz palace Houseboat great location, great service, friendly staff. Good value for the money.

Obviously, anyone who stays here or even looks at it from inside will give it five stars. If possible, more stars can be given! It is luxury where not much can be expected. When you first reach Dal lake and you get into your designated shikara which is supposed to take you to your houseboat, and then your shikara uploads you into this Aziz Palace Group Of Houseboat,The most friendly and trained staff, the aesthetically beautiful & elegant decor, the spacious and comfy rooms, the long attached bathrooms which are totally out of this world, the food. The food is literally mouthwatering, every morsel is yumm delicious. I can go on and on.

The location is great. Takes about 10 mins to reach in a shikara. The Montreal rooms are old and need proper cleaning. The mountain view rooms are decent. The service is pretty good and the staff is cooperative. Buffet food was decent. Hot water was available at all times.

If u are visiting kashmir do book this houseboat and have an outstanding vacation. Very aesthetic houeboat.

the owners has extremely good stuff. I cannot think of a more wonderful stay at a houseboat in the recent past - Aziz palace houseboat surpassed all our expectations. Go for it !

The house boats are tied together to shore right next to reach other so close that you can see the window on the next house boat from yours. I did not have the feel of staying in the house boat as it was tethered all the time and never sailed.... It did not even sway even an inch. Food for the dinner buffet was too costly for the variety of food. I preferred to eat fruits for one dinner stay. We travelled with family of four with kids. Water bottles sold with Rs10 more than MRP. Not sure of other places but if you want to stay in moving house boats, try that in Kerala.
