Azad maidan is located in the heart of Panjim city. It is a martyrs monument which reminds us of freedom fighters. It is a tall structure with a crest displaying a forum armed structure. It is one of the tourist attractions in Goa. It has a small ground with lawn. A concrete stage is built on one end where many government activities and cultural functions are conducted. The place is perfectly fenced too. This place is very well maintained and kept clean too. It has a pay toilet which is kept clean.
Good ground to have a gathering of people in big numbers. In the very heart of Panjim, opposite Police training. Near GCCI. Easily accessible by Public transportation. Ample parking around.
Very good Place to Seat in Shade during Afternoon. And it's In Middle of City Rush so it's something different and feels Good to be there
