The lake was beautiful especially the island in the middle of the lake, it was green with lots of birds.
There was waste directly flowing into the lake however I could see many people fishing in the lake not sure it should be allowed.
There was also so many garbage items thrown into the lake.
Overall it was a beautiful lake with trees and properly maintained trails around the lake, good place visit in the morning as well as evening.
Beautiful lake and walking track . However water is getting mixed with storm water drain and lot of algae. Needs clean up and maintenance regularly.

Anjanapura-Avalahalli lake is a pretty decent lake. There seems to be large amounts of filth coming into the lake but areas have been provided for natural filtration. Water quality looks pretty decent. There is a gravel walkway around the lake. Not all areas seems to be very neat, lake needs a bit of maintenance. However once the trees that are planted grow big, the lake would be a much better place. Birds can like Jungle Mynah, Spot billed ducks, Little Grebes, Eurasian coots, Cormorants, Grey Herons etc can be spotted in and around the lake.
Walking muddy path is ready. You can do bird watching. There are ducks, cranes and other beautiful birds visiting the lake.
Hope they open a small water treatment plant soon to avoid untreated water running into the lake.
You'll always find a cop inside for the visitors safety. It's safe and good place which has great potential to improve and attract more visitors.
Good lake in the middle of the busy streets. Ideal for walking and jogging. Cycles not allowed inside. Pretty clean water in the lake. Travel responsibly, Don't litter!! Happy visiting!!

One beautiful place ideal destination for cycling. Lake is not so well maintained. So it would be great if plp of that place become responsible n try to maintain n protect it . I could find many birds over der so a good place for bird watching too
A beautiful place which is clean and green. Walking path is wide throughout with regular sitting benches. There is play area, washroom, sitting benches with roof and excellent views of the water. You can find ducks and birds too.
Amazing place ,away from the hustle of the busy Bangalore crowd. Fresh Air and amazing natural beauty makes this lake marvelous.
