Auranga Koyal Sangam - Tourist attraction in Polpol Kalan - Palamu, India

This place is still pristine, as I had experienced this 20 years back. Though the Forest Bungalow has been modernised and additional construction is spoiling the natural beauty, but the riverfront is still unchanged and pure.

The famous film 'Arannyer Dinratri' Directed by Director Satyajit Ray based on the story by Writer Sunil Gangopadhyay was Filmed here and nearby Kechki Dak Bunglow in the 70's.

The forest rest house is situated there. Not very impressive. Two bridges have somewhat destroyed the beauty of the place.

What an experience to visit this Place... Where the two river meet at a point naming a place called Kechki Sangam. The two river are River Auranga flowing from laatehaar to Daltonganj and the North koel River flowing from Gumla-laatehaar to Daltonganj. Both meet at this point and they moves towards Daltonganj city and further they proceeds to fall at Sone River. At rohtaas. Kindly visit during weekend and enjoy this beautiful river sangam spot.

Very silent and peaceful place on the way to betla national park.A nice place for photoshoot with jungle on both side of bridge .

This is the place you want to go in winters and not in summer cause the river dries up so it gets kinda dull but in winters this place becomes one of the best picnic spots in palamou .

This is a very attractive tourist place in our nearby village it is famous because auranga and north koel river meet up you can visit this place in monsoon season because in summer river dries up and small line of water passing through the river People can visit this place by road
