But now rather than sports it is used as space for events.
Like for meetups , rallies , concerts etc
It really needs maintanence and cleaning .
Visited here during Durga Puja .
Practice place for various sports in the morning. A hangout place for youngsters by evening. Located near North Gate, it has many fast food shops nearby.
It is a huge field and plays an important role in many political gathering or any cultural or stage show. Here i have attached some of the clips of the concert by Sonu Nigam. It was a great night and the gathering was out of control.
And a team from IIT Delhi has presented a drone exhibition for the first time in Tripura.

The ground is lively in the evening as people come here for playing outdoor. The stadium is a bit out of maintenance it needs good care to be taken.
was an emotion for our generation but some dishonest, unprincipled and devious power that had completely damaged the feelings and the aroma of this heritage and of all lost the meaning of the term stadium by doing baseless implements.

A nice place to be at ease. A lot of food counters to satisfy the taste buds and a Lil walk around. Lot of youngsters gossiping around the clean pathways. Feeling of an evolving smart City.
Also known by the name of Vivekananda Stadium. Almost all political programs of Agartala happens here. It's a good party ground for football and cricket.
Good Communication.Surrounding view is attractive.Important govt: establishment and a sports complex Vivekanada stadium,North Gate of Ujjayanta Palace make the ambience exiting
