Asiatic Lion Lodge - Sasan Gir Resort and Hotel - Resort hotel in Haripur - Gir Somnath, India

Rooms are very good. Restaurent Staff is very bad. Had booked three room with breakfast and dinner. Every thing was bad in food over and re cooked and over ripped fruit. Staff was serving to one table fresh juice in breakfast. When we demanded for it they told that table guest were owners guest . We told them that we will pay for it but please serve us. They rudely refused. They served us 4 amlet between 5 guest. When asked for another They again refused. So insulting.

Stayed here for our Gir safari visits. Excellent place, great staff. The rooms were very clean, and we'll equipped. We asked for an extra bed for our kids, and they were happy to accommodate. Due to some flight mishaps, we ended up getting there around 3am. The desk staff called to ask if we would like to have any food ready in the room when we arrive, and sure enough they accommodated happily. They didn't have to do that, but they did - and it was sincerely appreciated. Keep up the great work folks.

Great spot to relax in between safaris. This place is nicely squeezed between farms and becomes a very beautiful location to stay at with the greenery around. The rooms are spacious and clean. There are enough games to engage kids. Definitely worth a stay.

This hotel has no ethics. Due to Biporjoy Cyclone, we had to cancel our trip as it was predicted to hit during same period. Even Government cancelled all safaris & refunded permit fees. This unethical hotel & management chose to charge full amount despite of natural calamity & practically useless trip due to closure of national park. They want customer to risk their life so that they can profit from disaster. Such times show true character of businesses & management. Shame on you Asiatic lion lodge because you choose quick cash in place of long term goodwill in such natural calamity.

Worst resort in the region. Bad attitude of especially manager and staff biased towards non -gujaratis. They don't serve well to Gujarati families.

Although we spend only two days there, it was soo unforgettable experience we actually had.The resort itself is eco-friendly, so neat and tidy, courteous staff responsible management . We would like to thank you for all the services we had

We went there for family trip. The ambience was too good. Lots of activities were there like cycling, badminton, cricket, chess, jungle trail, etc. Some of them are chargeable. Library was nice. Staff was courteous but slow service because of lack of enough Staff members. Overall nice experience. Recommend for families.

This is a very nice property close to the Gir Safari. The rooms are well appointed and spacious with though the rooms are a bit overpriced compared to others in the same category. Lot of birds and squirrels around the property. The food is excellent but they have limited choices.
