I had a bad experience for last 3 dys ........maintain atleast a minimum quality and customerservice........we are paying not for free service .......recption and nursing staffs are tired of duty and they trating badly .....because of dr sreekala we came here for the treatment ......feeel pitty about ashtamudi hospitl and whole team ....

Too much lag in pharmacy section. They will not take a speed processing in giving medicine to the patients.

Highly not recomendable.....especially staffs very rude to the bystanders and patients .......head weight is peak I heard that sisters are like angels......but really like devil's here ......also reception peopls .....

Hospital with professional quality. They will not exploit the patients. Unnecessary tests, procedures and medicines will not be put on the patients. The legendary cardiologist Dr Raechal is available here. Undoubtedly the best hospital of Kollam district.

Very bad experience I ever had! My grandpa was admitted in this hospital and he didn't get the adequate treatments. When My grandpa was suffering with breathing difficulties the nurses egnore her caring. At any cause don't go to this hospital. Nurses are very rude! Really they don't know how to manage critical situations, Especially to the old ones. My grandpa dead due to insufficient treatment. Please don't visit. Did any nurse ask the age of patient while they are not well?..... The word I want to say is don't go there.

Extremely bad experience from this hospital. There are numerous hospitals in Kollam City. So at any chance don't go to this hospital. If you're taking advice from any of the doctor in this hospital, especially in case of Dr. Jacob John, then better to take a second opinion before finalising the treatment.

The worst hospital all over the world . patient was scheduled for sugery by morning 10 .till night 11 the same was not started yet extreme bad care no responsible doctors

Ashtamudi Hospital is a blessing to the society with a team of doctors who keep medical ethics which is hard to find. Hi all, I am writing this out of my own experience with Ashtamudi hospital. My mother aged 72 was admitted with COVID at a Multi specialty private hospital in kollam, where she was over treated with medications. she became COVID negative in a couple of days but day by day her condition deteriorated and she had a lot of post COVID complications and even after 12 days of ICU hospitalization there was no improvement. Even though there was no hope at that time they were keen on doing unnecessary tests and aggressive management which I refused so they asked me to take the patient where ever I like. The hospital where my mother was admitted first was so expensive that a normal person cant afford it. At this juncture I contacted Dr. Jacob John and he was kind enough to admit my mother over there with an oxygen support in the room given. She was anemic at that time, her hemoglobin was very low, her saturation was low, had a lot of edema allover her body plus a DVT gangrene. Dr. Jacob John even though he is a neuro surgeon he took the risk of treating a patient who is in a sinking stage . He started treating her with just a steroid tablet and Insulin to adjust her diabetes plus Lasix tablet to control her edema along with 4 units of blood transfusion and anticoagulant therapy. The team of junior doctors Dr. Arun, Dr, Keerthana, and Dr. Devi they all were very cooperative and helpful. Also I would like to thank the nursing staff there. They are good in phlebotomy. With another 12 days of hospitalization my mother recovered and she was discharged back home from a condition where all felt had no chance of recovery. For the entire 12 days of hospitalization it costs only Rs. 30,000. This Ashtamudi Hospital is a blessing to the society with a team of doctors who keep medical ethics which is hard to find. The hospital is good in cleanliness.
