Arunachala Ashram it is Such a wonderful & peaceful atmosphere for doing meditation, but keeping of time it's very challenge & difficult for those who making spiritual travelling like Girivalam & Lord worship etc..because that is only we were faced & felt such a huge drawback while stayed to the Ashram. Only thing we are not determine the time while making the Spiritual traveling lot of responsibilities remaining caring child & old people's etc.. That is only humble request to make an arrangement to differentiate the different kind of Devotees...

This is awesome stay experience, rooms are fully tiled even on the walls and clean. These are newly constructed rooms and still upper floors are under construction. But liked the stay even though bit costly. U may not get regular breakfast and lunch but you will get healthy food. Temple will be 4km away if u have vehicle that is not an issue at all.

Rooms are bit costly, but they are providing free food and they are quoting that they will use these funds for social activities. That is a good practice. Rooms are congested but they are neat and clean. We had dinner at the Ashram and the food was tasty and hygienic. Following are few conditions in Ashram which are most appreciated. > No Western culture attire > No Food waste > Cleaning our own plates Over all service is good compared to commercial hotels.

The place and ambience is very good, the staff are very humble, the food they provide makes one feel like home, over all a very nice place to stay during the visit to Thiruvannamalai

Excellent rooms and wonderful service by Arunachalam Aashram guys..I must mention one thing here: these people spoke to me in English which no others in tamilnadu will speak(Earlier I visited some places in tamilnadu where no one spoke to me in other languages).As a traveller who is visiting to temples this is very useful and helpful to us.This is 5 kms to Railway station and 4kms to Thiruvannamalai Temple.Even they provided with auto facility( i mean they spoke to auto guy and helped us to go to railway station in low fare). I really loved the way they have received. Tiffin was also excellent. I will definitely recommend Arunachala Aashramam to everyone

Best and Peaceful place to stay & meditate for pilgrims of Tiruvannamalai. Well Maintained and clean all over Ashram. Excellent Veg Foods are provided at Annapurni Dinning Hall. The staff's are humble and good in customer service. Located on Chengam road. Just 200rs for auto from Main Bus stand. Stayed over night and Got up early. Started Girivalam yatra by 3.30am and completed with Annamalaiar Dharshan. The best timing for girivalam during summer is early morning 3am onwards.. Om Namah Shivaya

Decent for resting and freshing up.... Toilets were decently clean But it's pretty far from the city and temple Autos charges like hell on special days
