I was expecting better service but it was okay, they really need to do well otherwise lots of people will go for a private resort. They need to remove the word resort, there are no facilities like resorts provide. It's just okay to stay. Food is also just okay.
It's in a strategic location and is a large beautiful space. But the place can definitely be maintained in a much much better manner , be it the room , kitchen or dining area. Cleanliness can definitely be attended to.
"Resort" is in pathetic state. Unmaintained and poor level of facilities. Numerous mosquitos and bugs in the room. Bathrooms are leaking and flush doesn't work. Blankets are so dirty that decided to not use them. Staff including kitchen staff is polite. Limited options but quality of food is good. Location is best.
The property is very spacious near to Gandikota fort n gorge. Limited restaurant facilities. You will get limited items like fried rice. Roti chapathi. With two types of curries Morning only dosa. No idle n vada etc. but what ever they serve is good n tasty. Very courteous service. If you order in advance depending on availability they prepare. Restaurant area is very spacious n very comfortable. Rooms moderately good. TV is not working. Provided towel n toiletries Morning we can have pleasant walk in the property as there are lot of trees , vast area
Good place to chill out. Need to be improved in terms of service and quality of food. At night it is very irritating dogs and other animals are disturbing by entering our premises. Morning breakfast is awesome. Overall enjoyed a lot.
Stayed here for a night. Pros - Fantastic location, parking right outside room, AC in the room was working well, staff are polite, good food although limited options. Cons - Poorly maintained room full of insects, unclean bathroom, wet floor mat, unclean bedsheets and blankets, no water bottle available in room (need to buy water bottle), no tea available in the morning. For the amount they are charging (2240 per night on weekends), at least basic things such as a clean bathroom is required.
This is a decent place to stay in Gandikota, for a night or two. Has basic amenities at the independent resort type rooms with ample parking and a restaurant inside the premises. Rooms are spacious but very basic, old, requiring maintenance. AC took hours to get to 25 degrees. All sorts of insects around (expected) Terrace was full of bottles :) Service is good, they try to fulfil your requirements as much as possible. Restaurant provides decent food of all regular varieties. They have big dorm kind of rooms. Safe for families. There's a small museum type of room is there for the sake of it. The attractions are nearby to this hotel, booking is through their site or their Whatzap number. Keep your expectations low at this remote, Govt managed hotel and enjoy the attractions around.
Worst maintenance..The room was not cleaned well , hundreds of red ants n spiders . We could not sleep the entire night due to rat menace . Can understand power cuts in those kind of places but AC controls were not working properly .No proper house keeping and no support staff Limited food options for vegetarians, basic things such as water , tea n coffee was also out of stock.. Would not recommend to anyone

That was a great experience "Grand Canyon of India". We can enjoy a lot here. It would be better if we reach before sunrise to View Point. Also this place has a boating facility. Even the Road to Gandikota is also excellent.
