The tariff of overnight stay for 1 bedroom Houseboat was almost half of what others had quoted. The cook cum helper, Raju and the captain/ sailor/ driver, Shiva were as good as possible. The food served was simply delicious. As we're concerned for safety, we're informed that the boat is parked just outside the owner, Mr Jithu's house while the crew remains onbaord. The owner is again a nice person who's available for serving the customer's queries or requirements at any time. Overall had a great experience.

Worst ever experience with non working ACs and have entirely changed my view on visiting Allepey! I guess these are the worst ever houseboats service in Allepey! Don't not book house boats from this service please!

I had a great experience with Angel Queen Houseboats? I didn't have the time to spend the night, but I did a morning tour with a houseboat on the backwaters of Kerala and it was amazing. Money well spent! Great views, great experience, and got water and delicious tea. The organisation and communication went very well. Highly recommended.

The house boat experience was in general lacking quality in a lot of aspects.. but I cannot deny that the food served on the boat was spectacularly delicious. It was truly authentic and very true to the kuttanadan flavours. But the general ambience of the boat was unsatisfactory. There were creepy crawlies in the boat which showed it wasn't fumigated as promised. And worst of all after the lunch hour halt, the engine failed to start. We were left floating in the lake while the chef/captain/ technician attempted to restart the engine using multiple techniques. Although we lost an hour like that we were compensated with an extra hour in our journey. If a little more care to hygiene would have been given i would have given it 5

The boat was well maintained... the Staff were very friendly. The food was delicious... could add a few more items in the menu. And not to forget the docking area... the boat anchors in front of the owner's house where no other house boats will be around. Happy Sailing!!

The boat must have been good some time ago, but needs serious and urgent upgrade. It was definitely not the one shown in some pictures. It broke down and had to be repaired in the evening. AC was only turned on on request, and was off most of the night due to a storm. The bathroom was quite disgusting including a cockroach that we had to kick out. Insects are expected but there was no repellent. WiFi was only provided when we asked, not by default. Food was ok and quantities more than enough. Personnel were super friendly and helpful. The motor boat ride in the early morning was a highlight. Overall, if they would put some effort into upgrading the boats, this could have been a great experience.
