It was great relaxing experience. You can enjoy the beautiful backwaters cruise on the houseboat with lipsmacking food made by the staff. Staff are amazing and really helpful.

Better to visit here during non-holiday season...You can enjoy the beauty of nature... It's like a child's quiet prayer. Like heaven's blue-tinted glow. Like the scent of the rivers. Like the music of the palm trees. Everything flows naturally, here in the backwaters of Kerala.

We were blown away by the Venice of the East. Scenic all the way. Every snap turned out to be post card. There was light drizzle all through our trip. We were ferried by a small boat to the house boat as that could not reach this part of the backwaters. We were served a welcome tea on boarding. The crew were courteous and non intrusive. We snapped to our hearts content. Just couldn't catch all those sea gulls, a stray dog wallowing in the water, jumping fish, a father taking his kids in uniform to the school in a boat, post office , man selling fish in his boat..,....you can go on and on about it... Select a rainy day for the trip. Blazing sun tends to make you to seek the comforts of the AC room of the boat. Then came the lunch. With the native karimeen fry and tuna fish curry. We preferred white rice to cater to the needs of all. Otherwise go for the keralan matta rice. Tastes good and easy on the stomach. As few in our group were veggies, sambar and 2 veg poriyals with pappadam and payasam were also there. Superb lunch. We played some cards in the afternoon and when we were about to crave for something to munch, in came the pazhampori and chaya. My only request to those taking this trip is plan for a rainy day. And enjoy the beauty of the nature.

Very good view in house boat travelling in Alleppey. Check in time 12 pm. Then boat start to travelling, enjoying out view of Blackwater. Lunch also Prepared in boat kerala style lunch. Any special need ask to kitchen, prown, some special fish etc. Evening tea and snacks. Some special places stop boat and go out visit there. Whole night boat stopped some safe place and halt. Good rooms in all hose boats. Next day boat start again to travel pick place. Breakfast also from boat. Feel good September to March peak time. Season time always coastly

Anyone should do experience houseboat atleast once in their life. We boarded the houseboat in the mid morning by 10:00AM. Chef Chetta served us Welcome Drink.(Ginger-Mint-Beetroot-Lemon) Followed by Yummy lunch (Picture). We booked 2Rooms AC houseboat because the weather of Kerela is always too humid. But they turns on the AC only after 6:00PM and till 9:00AM. Speakers were their in our houseboat so We totally enjoyed by singing & dancing on our favourite songs. In the evening they served Tea with Fries of Banana coated with flour (Yummy). Enjoy the South Indian Cuisine In dinner. P.S- Please do carry An Odomos or Mosquitoes repellents.

Boating mainly house boat is a variety experience for freshers. You can choose the package in many ways as following Mng ride Day ride ( mng to evng) Stay ( mng to next day mng) If you just want to feel the houseboat you can just go for a morning ride, you that you can feel the freshness and the beauty of lake. If you are planning for a lunch then choose day ride. Which starts mng 11 and you will get lunch inside prepared by themselves and you will get tea. Or you guys are planning as a honey moon trip then choose stay. I suggest Day ride than stay because House boat will not be running after 5.30 They will park the boat and next day morning only they will restart the trip. Price may vary according to the boat, number of people and the menu and other facilities.
