Ananthagiri Camping | Freakouts Adventures - Campground in Vikarabad, Kondapur Kalan - Vikarabad, India

Ananthagiri Hills is a beautiful place located around 80 km from Hyderabad. The roads are good and you can easily drive there. The best time to visit is during the rainy or winter seasons, as the area is very dry in the summer. There is a small temple, a few mini waterfalls, and a lake (Kotepally Reservoir) nearby. It is a great place for trekking and relaxation. You can also take some great photos there, especially of the sunrise. The area is very peaceful and is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. I recommend visiting the place only during the rainy or winter seasons, as the area is very dry in the summer. Note: There is a Govt Parking facility available, however, there are no restaurants or washrooms nearby, so come prepared.

Great place to hand out with friends and family. The staff is very supportive and friendly. They have a beginner friendly trek. They have indoor and out door activities as well. The zipline was not working unfortunately when we went. The food is not that great, its average at best so I recommend to bring your own food. Overall experience was satisfactory.

Very nice place

Monsoons are the best time to go, it's lush green everywhere. Things to remember, there will be no shade so be prepared to take the brunt of hot sun during the afternoon. Also take picnic blankets to seat. It's highly recommended to carry your own garbage bag as there will be no places to clear your garbage. The road to the location from Hyderabad is pretty good, except for the last stretch where it gets a bit bumpy with relatively high speed breakers, so cars with low ground clearance need to be careful.

Very nice greenery is so wonderful

It's a nice serene place,one can enjoy the beautiful hilly vegetation.The Ananthanabha temple is very good.The facilities at the Ananthagiri are minimal.The tourism department has to improve the facilities. Hotels for good food are also not much. The Road from Hyderabad is good.

Best place for night Camping near Hyderabad. We enjoyed a lot last weekend! Freakouts Team helped us in doing kayaking, rappelling, rock climbing and trekking. The food is also equally good. Looking forward to visit other campsites of Freakouts.
