Food is so-so.The ambience is not so good.The restaurant looks a bit shabby.Washroom is not cleaned properly. They should improve cleanliness and hygiene. However,if you can ignore all these aspects,you may go there for food,as there are not many good eateries nearby. If you order a fish thali, make sure to check number of pieces beforehand,because they don't deliver what they promise.
One of the best restaurant of Port Blair. Located on Rajiv Gandhi road it offers the best food in the town. It specialises in both veg and non veg including sea food. Biryani is a must try other fish dishes. The prices are very much competitive as compared to other restaurants in the town. The service is good. Not very crowded usually, one will have to wait for 15 minutes before order gets ready.
Very poor service and staff attitude. Least interested and unclean and dark environment. Fish tank looks good but staff is quite rude and disinterested. Reasonable pricing but poor food quality and hygiene.
Today we order biriyani and tandoori chicken . All the dishes was too bad in taste. The biriyani which they gave was too cold. They just served mornings food in a very bad way For this kind of behaviour i will advise everyone to avoid foods from Ananda Restaurant. If we are paying money we should get what we want.. Very disappointing..
Our driver recommended this saying it's good. I literally feel like slapping him for taking us to such a dirty and horrible place. There was absolutely zero management, they even told us to move from our table because they had to combine it with another big one. We thought maybe the food will be good but this place had to just serve the worst Dal Makhni I've ever ate, and their curd was just overpriced sour water, that too these mere basic items took more than 15 minutes. If it were upto me, I'd just shut this place down. DON'T EAT HERE!
Chicken and prawns in special biriyani is NOT boiled properly. 1200rs is completed WASTE. UTTER WASTE HOTEL DONT WASTE UR MONEY. CHICKEN FRY TOO NOT BOILED. USELESS FELLOWS DONT HAVE MORAL VALUES TO CHARGE LIKE THIS.
Today we ordered butter naan, Punjabi masala and fish fingers. Butter naan was too bad in taste. When we review to the manager and waiter refused to except it. For this kind be behaviour local public are avoid to take foods from Ananda Restaurant. May Owner of Ananda Restaurant may understand, why sale are going down.....
The only thing I liked about this place is the fish tank, it was a complete mind relaxing to watch the fishes swim while you are enjoying your meal. Food was fine as compared to the other restaurants in the city. But the place seems a bit non spacious. Rest room is also small and not clean, but atleast better than the other restaurants.
