Ambazari Back Waters (Bird Watching) - Bird watching area in Nagpur - Vidarbha, India

Not maintained It is not at all same as it was 2-3 years ago. The boards of the bird's information are rusted and still not have replaced them. The main purpose of getting information about the birds is vanished. Even at the lake point that wooden thing is now broken. Still I have given 3 stars because even now the silence and peace is there . We can just feel the nature. As shown in some of the previous photos there is no advanture games. But that's all fine because the main moto to visit this place is bird watching. Kindly work on these points because that's the only nearer place where we can enjoy peace and learn from nature .

I always love to walk in the forest of Ambazari Back water.. We used to go for the birding on the weekend. Environment was Awesome in the winter and rainy season Best place for the morning walk.

One of the best places in nagpur for bird watching and photography :) Best time to visit would be mornings to catch some amazing bird species and also wild animals sometimes.. Peacocks are spotted in large number and you can see many people roaming around with cameras.. Couple of watch towers too on the way.. Overall.. A nice spot <3

The Ambazari back water is a picturesque landscape with numerous species of birds. Must visit place for nature and Animal lovers.

Ambazari back water and Biodiversity park - The best birding Park very near @ 10km from heart of the city.... As name suggest wide variety and Biodiversity of flora and fauna, birds and animals... The park is open in 2 shifts morning 6am and evening 3 pm. Entry ticket only rs 10. You get bicycles on rent at rs 50..enjoyable to ride bicycle , wander, take photos and observe Biodiversity. Battery operated auto are also available. Parking for 2 and 4 wheelar at nominal cost The best thing is you can carry your bicycle inside at no extra cost.. The park is full of information with photographs and models of birds, animals and trees. One must visit and enjoy the forest feel within city.

A less explored part of Nagpur. Reaching there early morning, just around sunrise is the best time. Though the place is well developed, there is no maintenance. Cycles provided for Rs 50/ are not in good shape. I rode one after 15 years! The huts and seating spaces made are not maintained and grossly neglected. At times I wonder why does this happen to all similar places in Nagpur? They start with a bang and within a year...are in pitiable state.
