Alor Grande Holiday Resort. - Resort hotel in Candolim - North Goa, India

Location is good. The resort seems to have 100% occupancy at all times. The staff is limited so service takes time but they are trying their best. The rooms need lot of work. Even a fresh coat of paint can do wonders for the room appeal. Value for money.

Starting with the rooms, the photos you might see on Airbnb might be misleading, the resort was in a very bad condition. When we reached the way to the room was blocked by overflown water. We were glad that the room was on first floor. Our room was clean but had roaches all over. We found around 4-5 of those during our stay. As for the good parts, the resort has its own pool which is in a decent condition and this location is pretty great.. You will be near some of the best places in candolim.

Only location is plus point here hence given overall two stars. Swimming pool was also good. Rest all things were not upto the mark. Food quality was also not good. Very much disappointed with the room quality. Reception staff was good, prompt and cooperative. Buffett service was not good

Worst staff. They don't have basic courtesy to offer sitting or bag keeping facility while you wait for your check-in just because they discriminate between their own resort booking vs private airbnb guests. Coming from hospitality sector such kind of behaviour is highly unacceptable. Their staff doesn't have basic manners to ask someone to sit, offer water let aside help guests coming early. There are hygiene and cleanliness concerns as well. Please never book a stay here just so that you avoid facing their super unprofessional staff.

This is the very old property of goa. Room and breakfast are ok. But it is in the main market and candolim beach is near to the hotel. Distance of Panjim is also very less about 15 km. Swimming pool is goo compare to kays river view resort kays experience was horrible.

We have visited alor Grande on 16th March...but it was under maintenance ....so do not book it via any online medium as they do take the bookings but you will have to cancel it later and look for other property as it getting renovated.

Very poor experience to say the least. Hotel staff was clueless and not very helpful. Property is not like the pictures uploaded. Forget about being proactive, the staff was not even responding to genuine requests in a timely manner. Hotel is grossly understaffed. Not at all value for money and not worth recommending anyone.

I stayed here 2 Nights with my family Rooms are clean and neat staff is also helpful Specially Reception counter Mr.Rakesh is very Humble and Helpful person . Need to improve food qwality . Good property but need more staff for well maintainance and attension
