A humble beginning with a massive 50 KW vacuum tube transmitter in the early fifties. It has now entered the third generation with 200kw transmitter with directional antenna system. This centre has the tradition of excellent upkeep and development activities. Proud to be associated with this installation in the early seventies when Hoskote was just a sleepy village. It is always pleasant to recall the several nights of special works and the mountain of experience gained.
