This is a great option if you are in Imphal. It's a peaceful environment for when you're not sightseeing and you'll be fed delicious homemade Manipuri food. It is very l easy, quick and cheap to get into Imphal. Milan the host is a genuinely lovely person who cares a lot about his locality, the local community, his family and his guests. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about Manipur and more than happy to share this with you if you have the time. Milan was also very helpful. He allowed us to leave some of our luggage for a few days while we explored Lake Loktak and he drove us to the Kohima departure point and negotiated our tickets for us. Thank you Milan and family - I will be back!

First of all, the place is located at iroishemba zoological garden road which is a very quite serene place for your stay but considering the pricing I would rather opt for a hotel with modern amenities and which is much closer to the city centre. The room and the amenities provided are just some basics including the bedding but on the plus point you might get to enjoy home cooked food.

Milan and his family are wonderful hosts and the food cooked by his mum is amazing. Milan has an intricate knowledge of the local area, customs culture and politics and I learnt a lot from him. The rooms are comfortable spacious and clean. Thank you Milan for your kindness and generosity. I really enjoyed my stay

This was such a great place to stay and check out Manipur! Our host Milan was such a gem and gave us so many useful tips about what to see and do in the area, as well aa picking us up when we arrived, taking us to the Sangai Festival that was going on on multiple nights, and dropping us off when we left. The food cooked by his lovely relatives was authentic and delicious, and we had the offer of 3 meals a day if we wanted them included with the very reasonable room price! Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable, and all our needs were taken care of! Thank you Milan and family! :D

We stayed two nights with Milan and his family, which turned out to be such a wonderful introduction to Manipur and India. Milan himself is an amazing, generous and knowledgeable host and his family are so lovely and welcoming. Would definitely recommend to any future travellers wanting a place to stay that feels like a home away from home. Thank you Milan! Hope to be back in Imphal one day :)

We stayed for a week with Milan begging of November. We had the biggest room with a/c as we were four. Nice&clean room. Our kids played with the boys next door. We had at least 3 meals a day plus tea&biscuits. Milan's mum&sisters are very good cook. I had my first fish curry - it was so spicy but very nice -. We also helped Milan with little jobs at his other place. For 10r you can jump in a shared tuktuk to go in town and explore. Thank you Milan & tour family. The NZ Family

It was an amazing experience... Milan was a great host. Room was extremely clean and comfortable. Milan and his brother welcomed us in to their family and we felt like a part of their family... His mother and sisters cooked gorgeous Manipuri food for us. They went above and beyond in helping us and in ensuring that our stay was pleasant. Milan also took us to near by sceneries and it was great. It was great to spent with an authentic Manipuri family.

I stayed there for 2 nights and it was just "amazing". Straight after entering the property I was welcomed by a cow Family. The room was clean and very new/modern. I appriciated the deep conversations with Milan and he knows almost everything, doesn't matter if you need information about the next transport nor the political situation in India. They offered delicious local food and it was always nice to have the family around.
