I recently had the pleasure of staying at Abad Whispering Palms Resort in Kumarakom and it was truly an incredible experience. Good location, but quality of service and cleanliness of rooms need to improve a lot. Unfortunately the resort was not as great as week expected. The food was good, but some of the basic amenities like hot water, decent wifi, and smooth check-in was below satisfactory. The spa treatment and service by the ladies were excellent, but communication between the reservation team and the hotel needs to improve. Highly recommend the hotel management make necessary changes.
We booked the private pool villa for our wedding anniversary celebration. I should say it was one of the best decisions we made for the vacation. The main thing we liked about was the privacy and the ambiance. The view of the lake from the resort was spectacular. We really enjoyed staying there. It was so calm and peaceful. you can definitely opt for this resort .
Very good property with excellent location in this price. Well behaved and friendly staffs. However there were some draw back like we had to remind them for room service again & again . For example - 1. I had asked for drinking water and I had called for three times to remind them 2. We had ordered tea, after half an hour when I had called to enquired, the person picked up the call didn't have any clue so he had taken the order again . I feel the stuff were over worked.
I had an excellent stay at this hotel. Rooms were spacious and clean. The view of the lake from balcony was really nice. Foods were great and added bonus was sikara ride arranged from the hotel. Overall I enjoyed my stay at Abad Whispering Palms and recommend this place to tourists.
Very nice experience at this resort. Good was absolutely amazing, compliments to the chef he can make anything you imagine! Service was absolutely amazing and fast. Would recommend to anyone and everyone!
Overall the experience was great. We had rooms facing the lagoon. The rooms were clean and the service good. The only criticism i have is that these resorts should do a better job of cleaning the lagoon - especially the areas close to the resort- of plastic bottles, styrofoam and other garbage that floats down from upstream.
All other things r good, but little away from main market. There's musical program n free refreshment in d evening. Roads connecting to hotel is very bad. View from rooms r beautiful. U can enjoy with whispering sound of birds in d morning.

We had this mid-sized boat to ourselves (a group of 4). It was nice mostly sunny day so we enjoyed the view from top. The crew were very friendly and navigated the boat at a nice leisurely pace. My wife even took a short nap in one of the bedrooms.
