I missed the sunset, but had a good view of western ghats and the journey through the local bus was good as they were very cooperative, if ur going by local transport u have to request for the stop near the view point. Even seeing the monkeys over there made me happy, I wish i could visit the view again to watch sunset
The view point is good but there is no parking space. Please don't park near it risking your own and others lives . Heavy vehicles are not allowed on the ghat but Watch out for some maniac private bus drivers who just don't care about the rules.

I'm happy to share. 1. Agumbe sunset view is one of the best viewpoints you can experience without trekking. 2. I visited in monsoon and had a amazing experience. 3. You can park roadside for few minutes and enjoy the view. 4. Be careful with monkeys they can steal the food if you take out from bag.
Definately worth the stop before descending the Aagumbe ghat. The viewpoint is awesome. Make sure to capture those moments before heading off...

A good adventurous feeling when you visit here. Should park the vehicle road side itself. When I went the place was filled with water (front portion) due to rain. Crowd it will be always as any passer-by will stop the vehicle and come to view this beautiful spot. Overall s good spot.
