This food joint is one of my most visited places when traveling to my hometown. I never hesitate to indulge in what I like here because it won't compromise your health in any way.
It's a self-service restaurant, and the chefs prepare the dishes right in front of you. The unique and rare dishes they offer are a pleasant surprise in the restaurant scene.
The restroom is clean and tidy, and the ambiance adds to the overall experience.
The menu is a refreshing change from the usual; there are many options to explore, each offering a different and delightful taste. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Stopped here for a quick bite and coffee, tasted Vada which was good along with coconut chutney and had Sukku Coffee (Dry ginger coffee).
Good place to refresh, restrooms are cleans, plenty of items like toys, kitchen ware items are sold. I liked the view which is scenic.
One of the best restaurants on the highway.
Food is exceptionally well, easy on the pocket and the quantity is filling too.
Service here is pathetic though. The staff at the billing counter doesn't know mostly what's available and what's not.
The staff at the open kitchen are even worse.
Though the name says coffee stop, it's a full-fledged restaurant. Located on the 99th km from Chennai on the Chennai-Trichy national highway. There are many other restaurants nearby who deceive the travellers by 99km name board, but this is the one restaurant that serves food prepared with traditional millets.
It's a self service restaurant with a spacious and airy atmosphere. I've been here on a Sunday and had a Mini Tiffin Platter. The platter had pepper idli made of red rice, uthappam, vazhaippoo vadai, ragi kali sweet, ulundhu kanji, millet Pongal , sambar and three different chutneys. It was a filling meal and scrumptious.
They sell plant saplings, handicraft items and traditional mortar and pestles too. There is a gift and toy shops as well. There are clean restrooms and ample space for parking vehicles.
Definitely a must visit if one likes traditional millet based foods.
Neat and clean place. Their concern about travellers convenience and safety are top notch. They support some charity organization's out of their profit, felt heart touched. Thank you Mano Solomon brother for your great heart.
Good place to eat during your travel.
Pros:
Mini tiffin variety's great.
Idly good
Chutney variety.
Quick service.
Cons :
Poori is to be avoided. Mostly maida.
Tea coffee could have been better.
While travelling from Chennai this is my usual spot to take a break while driving on the highway. We get good food, water, coffee, clean toilets, refreshing snacks and ample parking place.
They server good food and provide healthy water and snacks.
Prices are a bit higher as they are located on a highway.
Very good place to fresh-up while travelling between Chennai to Pondicherry via Tindivanam Bypass (NH-32). Having great shops with unique collections of items. Different types of Tea were available which are very uncommon.
