All I have to say is I have never stayed in a motel with such a nice and accommodating staff. We flew in from Vegas and drove from Houston for my grandsons 16th birthday. He lives in Lake Charles but was here for his High School fishing tournament. I called and asked if we could check out later in the day since he was fishing and we didn't have anywhere else to go. They said yes. I am so thankful and would recommend this place to anyone. Thank you for having us.
Nothing fancy, but everything in good repair. Absolutely CLEAN! When traveling in this country, I usually take my UV flashlight to check on cleanliness. I checked sheets, floor, and all over the bathroom. Flawless! Wish my own house was that clean! I thought it was a bit pricey for the location and accommodation, but still in line with other places in the general area. Only problem: hot water was difficult to get.
This is an older 15 room motel but the beds were very comfortable, you don't hear road traffic since it sits back a little bit. It's clean and the staff are super nice.If your gonna be in this area I highly recommend staying here. My room wasn't as updated as my mom's, her room had new flooring and a ceiling fan. The only complaint I have is due to being older the walls are thin and you can hear the conversation and tv in the next room. Other than that one thing this place is perfect!
I would of rated 4 stars but the staff was so friendly about getting me into a bedroom with hot water. Newly renovated rooms are charming not what I expected. The only issue I had that night was the water line not being hot in my room and the city water line coming out rusty. Comfy beds, affordable price and I would stay again.
Not a bad place to camp out for the night. Was told there was 18 wheeler parking this was not really the case , there is parking but you have to back in off the road , and there's really only space for one tractor/trailer. The rooms are nice and are not bad for the price you pay. My room wasn't cleaned the best as it still had someone's shoes up under it. But overall I'd stay there again.
Motel was clean and beds were comfortable. My only problem was the walls are very thin and the person in the next room had their TV blaring all night. We got zero sleep. There is no one working there after 7pm or 8pm, so we were unable to complain.
Room was okay, it was bigger than some other hotels I've stayed at. Felt it was just a bit overpriced for being in the middle of nowhere. All restaurants are about a 22 minute round-trip from the hotel. Overall it's an ok motel if your working in the area and need a place to stay.
Staff was very friendly and the rooms were very nice and remodeled. Loved having a full-size fridge. Close to grocery stores & gas stations. I will definitely reserve a room there again the next time I go to Toledo Bend.
