We’ve been visiting Zume’s for a number of years and we always enjoy coming back. Buying a coffee and a treat is a pretty standard order for us. We ordered a regular coffee, a vanilla latte and coffee cake and they met expectations. The coffee cake was delicious that was fresh and crumbly enough to satisfaction. Thanks Zume’s, we’ll be back soon!
Good egg sandwich, good bagels and lox, solid coffee, great environment, friendly staff. Good place for a quick and chill breakfast.
This coffee shop has a great selection of gluten-free options. Their coffee is made with love , and the staff is so friendly.
Good place to chill out for a sec and the staff was friendly and welcoming. If you’re coming looking for specialty coffee, you might want to head elsewhere. They serve Atomic so I thought it would be solid, but espresso beverages are prepared carelessly with no attention to milk quality and shots are very long/overextracted. They have a good selection for flavors and beverage options though.
How have I not written a review before? We have been going to Zume's since they opened in Charlestown. From the coffee to the food, we always can find a tasty treat. I love that they are a huge part of the community as a small business and that they have thrived in the face of corporate coffee competition. Thank you for being there for Charlestown and us!
So bummed Zumes just isn’t the same anymore. Used to live in Charlestown and I took a detour while in the area to stop in. The staff was so incredibly rude I couldn’t even believe it. My breakfast sandwich was sooo dry that I could barely eat it, so I politely went to the side counter to ask for a pack of butter. I waited for the butter for 2-3 mins, not wanting to bother anyone, when I suddenly realized they were waiting for me at the register, to charge me 25 cents for a pack of butter. I’m not sure why they didn’t indicate to come that way… i was just standing, waiting, and so was the staff member. I was blown away - my sandwich was inedible, she knew it, and she was still unapologetic and charging me for butter. I absolutely want to support small business and the money wasn’t the issue, it was just the entire bizarre situation. What I hoped to be a relaxing stop for coffee was just uncomfortable and disappointing. Won’t be back unless it seems things have changed with their angry crew.
good, quick breakfast sandwiches with gluten free options! wonderful coffee and espresso drinks. my favorite is the caramel latte with oat milk!
Great cold brew and delicious chocolate chip cookie! It looks thick and dense, but that is not the case. It has the perfect balance of crunchy edge and soft center, just the way I like them! The service is always very friendly and very accommodating, which makes the experience even better.
