Quiet and peaceful environment with so many artifacts to see. Even had a kid corner with activity sheets. I was able to enjoy the museum, while my 5 year old could entertain himself and still be close by. My 9 year old loved the chance at seeing a dinosaur femur and view the multiple geodes.
The very merry Mesozoic Christmas was adorable! We'll go again next year! They have amazing petrified wood and minerals and fossils. They also have some dinosaurs.
This is a great museum. One it's free (donations accepted), two it's breathtaking. You walk in to the museum and on the right are these gorgeous crystals and on the left and in back beautiful petrified woods from all types of trees. The colors of both are just beautiful. The collection is amazing but that's not all. There is a room of fossils as well. Dinosaur bones and skeletons from different creatures millions of years old like a Giant Ground Sloth and a Baby Woolly Mammoth. So very interesting. Worth a stop to look around.
If you are a rock lover, go here! Perfect charming size museum but packed with lots to see and look at. Came with my 4 year old twins and we spent an hour looking around. I could have used more time here, really cool fossils too! Really neat petrified wood, and huge beautiful geodes and unique rocks. I hope to come back sometime and look at things more in detail. And they had coloring pages for kids and crayons, clean bathrooms and it was free! Would recommend for sure! A hidden gem!
Main focus is petrified wood and fossils. It is interesting to see wood from different regions side by side. Amazingly large specimens! (Since others have posted photos of those, I'm posting one of a petrified pinecone... something that I'd never seen.) The museum is perfectly sized for an hour's unplanned drop-in visit. I also appreciated that you can just walk in and privately enjoy without engaging staff.
Very cool little museum. Distinct galleries for petrified wood, minerals and fossils. Everything was beautiful and fascinating.
Amazing little museum full of spectacular fossils, minerals and petrified wood. So many wonderful items. What an amazing donation from the Zuhl family. Just outstanding. I would definitely go back and take my friends, and recommend it to everyone I know. One suggestions for the museum: Please label eveything completely. There is a sheet that lists information about the petrified wood, however, there are many beautiful spheres that aren't labeled. Improving the labeling of the items would definitely improve visitors' understanding and the entire experience.
This place is for anyone of any age. Both my mom and my 2.5 year old toddler were loving it! Really cool dinosaur and petrified wood stuff! It was quite small but perfect size for a toddler, in and out in 30-45 minutes.

I loved this place. It is full of actual nostalgic artifacts. The tour guide had a wealth of information. If I had kids, Iâd definitely take them. They even have a little model town display with a train set & itâs free.
Iâve been training here for about 10 months and I feel like I have found a home for me. The team is great to train with and the instructors are helpful even when I feel like Iâm asking questions I should already know. I also bring my 3 year old a

Super fun, super pleasant, super chill. I am a great fan of distilled beverages, and so my friend and I shared two flights. A good diversity of liquors, all quite nice neat. The serving staff was friendly and helpful. Salud!

What a beautiful place for a relaxing hike with the family! There hasn't been much rain, so the spring itself was just a trickle. We shared our morning with a herd of mule deer ð¦ crossing our paths at just about every turn up at the spring and his
All amazing! The simple menu takes out the normal wait time for food. Every dish was delicious. If you want a little more spice, just ask. They will give you chiles to add to your dishes. We will definitely be back!
Updating my review after a few more visits: This has become one of my favorite restaurants in town, if not my favorite. I honestly want to try everything on the menu. I've tried the tripas, barbacoa, carne asada and chicken alambre tacos. It's hard
