Zipps Sports Grill - Sports bar in Gilbert - 211 E Warner Rd #103, USA

-Firstly food was excellent. Nachos were sub-par however everything else was amazing. We got wings, BBQ bacon burger w/ sweet potato chips, pretzel w/ beer cheese, fries, nachos. -Cocktails were good (2 bloody marys and 1 mimosa) and we also got soft drinks for 3 people -Upon sitting our server took our drink and food order. We didn’t get our cocktails until we got our food. So we had to wait 30 minutes for anything. -Upon getting our food we asked for 3 sauces and requested we receive our soft drinks. -It took 10 minutes to get our 2/3 sauces and then our drinks came 5 minutes after. 45 minutes after initially being seated. After our drinks the third sauce finally came. A few times we had to ask another waitress for assistance because ours just was not on top of it. Not sure why because it didn’t seem busy at all. She took one of our drinks for a refill and never returned with it. We ended up discussing with the manager and he gave us vouchers for our next visit. We will try again and if service is better next time I will update this review. Still no sign of our last drink by the time we left. We love Zipps Scottsdale location so we tried this one and our first impression was not so good. Hopefully next time will be redemption.

Usually get the wings and a hamburger. I switched it up and ordered the fish and chips and a chicken quesadilla. The fish was absolutely cooked perfectly and crispy not to mention delicious. The quesadilla was spot on as well. I was very pleasantly surprised and can’t wait to try them again.

Zipps medium buffalo wings are the reason I go once a week. The flavor is outstanding and cannot be beat by any other wing place. They fry them perfectly without all the extra coating that other places use to try and "beef" up the size of their wings. For this location, wife and I stood inside the front doors while 4 female employees stood behind the hostess desk talking to each other. After about a two minutes, one finally looked our way and asked if we wanted a table. Daniel was our waiter, and he more than made up for the lack of service at the front door. He was very attentive and was there to serve customers, not socialize with other employees.

My wife wanted to catch the UofA football game on Saturday. It had been ages since we had been here. To our pleasant surprise, the UofA game was the featured game on their big screen. It was busy, but not too crazy. We stayed for most of the game, our server was great about not making us feel rushed. The food was pretty good, but not great. Their wing sauce is a little sweet and the nachos were very basic (cheese melted on chips). Otherwise we enjoyed our time and beer 😁

Food was excellent! I think they got new burgers because you can choose the level of done-ness now- medium rare all the way! ;) great service, everyone took care of us.

Our server, Amanda was very helpful. The food experience was really awful and food was not prepared right and the meats were not cooked properly. I definitely think that Kitchen should step up their game with cooking meats, especially chicken.

I’m not sure what they put in the Zipparita but by the time I finish drinking my first one I feel like dancing, and I don’t dance. Don’t be fooled by the petiteness of the glass or the bright colors, they pack a punch. The food here is decent, but the Zipparita is their claim to fame.

First time coming here after reading some good reviews here. I came here to watch the 49ers and Cowboys game.. I knew it was going to be packed, obviously. I was ready to wait a long time.. BUT, when I arrived, we were not greeted by a hostess. No one came by for over 15 minutes.. By this time, there were 5 families waiting to be greeted and added to the list. Fortunately, a table opened in the bar area, so we seated ourselves as one should. Our order was taken within 15 minutes. 2 drinks and an appetizer. I did notice they were extremely short staffed, and new we will be waiting for our food for a while because its not their fault, plus we were enjoying the game. We received our food after 45 min. Sadly, it was cold, and my burger was missing the top part of the bun lol. We got our appetizers AFTER we had finished our food. I gave them the benefit of a doubt, but I was disappointed.. I loved the atmosphere, and the staff was very friendly but very overwhelmed. I truly felt bad for them because at the end of the day, they're there to do their job. They just need to hire more people, especially when you are expecting huge crowds to come in on game days.
