I lived in St. George for 31 yrs. then approximately 4 yrs. ago, I went looking for a place. I was shocked at the price of a studio or 1 bedroom, the price was $800 to $1,100 a month. Some were to share a room in someone's home, sharing a bathroom, share a kitchen and bathroom. My daughter told me about Zion Hills Estate, for $375. It's gone up in 4yrs, but you can't find another at that price. The people are nice and polite. You need to see to appreciate.

Came on a quick trip to Southern Utah with family, and feel in love with this place. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable to the nearby National/State Parks. They actually saved us a lot of time by knowing so much. My room was very clean and smelt amazing. My favorite part of my whole stay was the view. Absolutely gorgeous.

Great place and people. They are very flexible with check in times and really easy going. Rooms are well maintained and beds are soft. If I have one negative thing to say about this hotel, it is that the continental breakfast isn't really great. You get a couple of loafs of bread, bagel, a waffle maker, cereal and yogurt. But for what you pay, it isn't too bad.

Hildale being a horse and cart town, our expectations were modest. But we paid 80 dollars a room for a clean bed and bathroom, no more. The right price should have been more like 50 dollars. The breakfast was adequate without being extravagant. We had two rooms - one had glasses (Styrofoam) the other had none at all. Our room had a coffee maker and the other a fridge. Couldn't quite fathom the logic. We were put up at the end of long winding corridor with flights of steps going up and down. It was a maze. There seemed to be an apparent lack of structure and logic to the whole property. The check out process was cool - just leave your room key at the front desk, because there wasn't a soul to check us out. If you are idiosyncratically inclined then Zion Suites of Hildale is just the place for you.

This is one of the Best places we could stay when visiting the Zion area. A super great value for your buck. Pros: - However we didn't eat because we were doing IF. They offer a nice breakfast with fruits, yogurts, juices, pancakes, eggs and coffee. Far from the continental breakfast model. - Super friendly staff, always polite and smiley. They'll arrange so you can have the keys to your room even if you get there away after check-in time - what happened to us. - Nice, clean and spacious room. We just missed a trash can or at least we did not know where there was one and didn't bother asking. Our room had a really big walk-in closet, two sinks with cabinets and a really spacious and clean bathroom - a few dirty spots here and there on the tub but nothing that could kill our vibe. Beds were fine, we didn't wake up in the middle of the night feeling uncomfortable with the mattress. - Place is quiet and peaceful. It makes you feel safe despite the size of it. We didn't have much trouble finding it in the dark Hurricane streets when we first came in. -Their guests are also very nice people, always greeting each other with a smile - at least the ones during our stay. - Kitchen is ginormous, with saveral tables with chairs and an island. - Lounging / visitor room is spacious and cozy and rooms are easily accessible. Overall, this will be my favorite place to stay in with my family whenever I'm visiting the Zion/Utah area. Cons: - No relevant ones.

So, I live here. Sherry the manager is a sweet heart and is always a text away if we need help. Half of the complex is rentals the other half is a hotel. Honestly, at first, I was a bit hesitant about that situation, but the amazing property and the amazing people that live in the area calmed any worry that I may have had. The property itself is beautiful, the unit we live in is roomy, easy to keep clean and includes so many luxuries one just wouldn't expect to find in a rental! Then, if you step out the door, you have this amazing views... Like some days when I walk out the door to head to work I almost can't believe that I get to enjoy this view every.single.day. There are gas stations, a nice park near the property, and of course tons of hiking. The people out in Hildale are very friendly and honestly, I never want to move. If anyone is looking for a get-a-way, you can't really get anything better than this!

Not only is this place in a town where half the homes are unfinished but we get there and waited 30 min for someone to return to their "lobby" where there was a note that if they weren't there to call their local cell phone...||When the lady did finally get back we learn that they didn't have the rooms we reserved. We reserved 2 rooms for 1 night. They had 1 room for 1 night and 2 rooms for then next night. Which we weren't staying the next night.||||Then I asked where's your reservation system, as she's just looking at a piece of paper with some names written on them... They didn't even have a computer or any real system.||||Then we finally decide to just bunk in one room as there's no other places with rooms. ||||So we get to the room and I'm looking in the hall for an ice machine... Well it's a tiny ice maker sitting on a shelf that has a broken lid abd is filled with water.||I open it up to pull the ice out and the bottom is disgusting and looks like it's never been cleaned. And also there's an Ant in the water...||||I tell the girl, who was nice (their only saving grace) and she says "oh I'll get it out" so I'm thinking she meant she'd Clean it out... I was wrong as I looked in the morning and yes the ant was gone... But the inside bottom was still disgusting... She Didn't Even Clean it!||||Oh and note they had shampoo... But no hand or bath soap. And also our bathroom had an almost empty toilet paper roll. And no other reserves anywhere in the bathroom. Do that's nice.||||I'm guessing all the good ratings are from locals. Because this is Not a good hotel.||And probably the most important thing is when we called we asked if they're near Zion Natnl park and they saud yes.. Well it's an hour away... Please for your own sake stay in Hurricane (30 min away) or even st George. Same distance but Way Better hotel options.
