Was nice here. Not many people. Two large parking lots. We didn't go into the bathrooms at all. Some picnic tables. It is a state park so you will need the state sticker to get in or you can pay at the station. We ended up doing the bike path and found that to be more enjoyable. Friendly people along the trail. We ended up biking to Dundee. Went here again for a nice bike ride on a beautiful and sunny day ~ was quite enjoyable! Nature is the best for both physical and mental health!

My wife and I have hiked these trails a number of times over the years, and they are always awesome. Short and long loops for whatever you are looking for, ranging from easy to harder. The scenery changes a number of times throughout, giving you lots of different views. Great spot for fall colors!

Absolutely stunning. We did a 3.5 hike here a few days go and it was spectacular. If you're a nature hippy, this is paradise. Oh, bring bug spray. They're not terrible but annoying enough where you'll need it. Restrooms are at the entrance of trails.

3 different trails all clearly marked. We hiked the green and red loops with two young kids and had no problems. Our chosen route took us an hour and a half with frequent stops to explore the just over 3 miles. Mostly flat, super wide trail in really good condition. Could see where it would be muddy in some spots after some rain, but also plenty of space to walk around those spots to avoid the mud.

Trails weren't groomed but passable. So much snow. Fell once and probably couldn't have gotten up alone. Thank you to the wife. It was beautiful and perfect temp

The chalet building is great in winter. The wood burning stove feels & smells like winter family gatherings. The bathrooms are pit toilets.

Very clearly marked trails. A little wet in the morning from dew on the grass, but overall a great place to hike. We started with the green easy trail, but there are longer lengths if you want more of a challenge.

Stayed at the back packing shelter B6. I gave a more in depth review on the kettle moraine northern unit. I could see how this trail system would get higher ratings in winter snow.

They have the perfect small town dive feeling if you're looking for it they got. Definitely had a great time chasing out the locals with very obnoxious and loud NWA songs. There drink suggestions are not something you want to ignore. I don't remember

Very beautiful place. I just wish people could keep their dogs out of the no pets zone. I’ve seen many scared children and dogs barking at each other. Kind of takes away from the serenity. But it’s not the parks fault.

Definitely worth the trip out to KM supper club. We stopped for brunch buffet and it was good. The views out from the dinning room are awesome! The staff were awesome. Kid friendly - Plenty of parking across the street from supper club.
