Zest Mediterranean Cuisine - Mediterranean restaurant in Folsom - 1008 Riley St, USA

I was excited to try Zest’s authentic Lebanese cuisine after reading positive reviews. While the staff was friendly and the place was spotless, my experience with food was mixed. The beef kebobs were incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavors. The hummus was smooth and creamy, with a well-balanced garlic and tahini flavor. However, the Mosakaa, a dish I had never tried before, was a bit bland for my liking. Served cold, it lacked the vibrant flavors I expected. The salad and rice accompanying the kebobs were not outstanding either. Lastly and unfortunately, the overpriced plates make me hesitant to return and explore other dishes.

Absolutely divine! We got the beef plate and baklava and they did not disappoint! This was the best Mediterranean food I’ve ever had, it beats everywhere by a mile. The beef was so tender and flavorful, the rice had enough flavor but not overpowering. The hummus was great and the tzatziki and pita was out of this world! The baklava was also the best I’ve ever had! Not too sweet and full of flavor. The portions as well were huge and we both were left with leftovers. We can’t wait to order again. 🥳

I’d give it five stars, but they just don’t have enough staff to keep up with demand. Since they were voted a top place to eat in the Sacramento region more people have come from all corners of the earth it may seem to try out their zesty cuisine. Hence the huge surplus of new customers with the minimal amount of staff struggling to mitigate the surplus. Anyway great food, good location 4 stars!

I had an absolutely amazing dining experience at Zest Mediterranean Restaurant! The shawarma chicken and shawarma meat were incredibly delicious and packed with flavor. The crispy onion rings were the perfect accompaniment. And let me tell you about the baklava—it was simply divine! I couldn't resist taking home two dozens of them. Not only was the food top-notch, but the cleanliness of the restaurant really stood out. It's evident that the owners take great pride in maintaining a clean and inviting atmosphere for their customers. Speaking of the owners, they were incredibly lovely, welcoming, and generous. Their warm hospitality made me feel right at home. It's clear that they genuinely care about their customers' satisfaction and go above and beyond to ensure a fantastic dining experience. To top it all off, Zest Mediterranean Restaurant is surprisingly affordable, offering incredible value for the high-quality food and service they provide. I can't recommend Zest Mediterranean Restaurant enough. Whether you're a fan of shawarma, crispy onion rings, or mouthwatering baklava, this place has it all. Don't miss out on this gem!

Excellent mediterranean restaurant. The veggie plate was excellent that I shared with my wife. Definitely ask for spicy hummus, that was 👌 awesome. There were several take outs keeping them busy.

WOW blown away how wonderful this restaurant is! My daughter,mom & niece went few months back and raved how good it is.I came in today with my mom.Prompt and courteous service.I had the pomegranate chicken and my mom got the chicken wrap.Also shared their eggplant hummus dip.Amazingly!Huge portions too!One of my favorite restaurants in Folsom

We tried out this place after reading reviews about it multiple times in the local FB group. And it did live up to the great reviews. We tried their vegetarian platter, which came with falafels, dolma, tabbouleh salad, tzatziki and hummus and would recommend getting this if you're trying out the place for the first time. The falafels were hot, crisp and fluffy; the salad was very fresh and flavourful. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves Mediterranean cuisine. The service was quick and the staff/owners were friendly.

Zest is Folsom’s hidden treasure! There are very few restaurants in Folsom which serve fresh, healthy and ethnic food and Zest is definitely one of them. They offer a simple menu but cater to anyone with dietary restrictions- gluten free, vegan, vegetarians. They offer burgers and kids meal. The place is clean and staff are friendly.
