Absolutely disgusting. As soon as we walked in saw a massive roach crawling all over the ceiling. There was an awful smell as soon as we walked in. If I could give zero stars I would. Would not recommend at all costs! Wires everywhere, mold on the ac unit, pubic hairs in the bathroom and all over the counters. Disgusting!

Right off the highway this cockroach infested hotel has been adorned with new floors… at some point. The shower was broken so when you had a shower you also filled the bath tub. The floor boards were ripped off so you can see all those old staples they never removed. Wash your own towels… WHAT?! Bed is SUPER uncomfortable. No early check out either. Guess ya gotta be in a bad spot in your life and stay for the extent of your reservation. They’ll make their money somehow! Trash spot. Trash people running it!

This used to be a not so nice hotel due to unsavory folks that hung out around here. However new owners have cleared out the place, are remodeling the rooms, and once the road construction is done on St Rd 17 and Eldridge this will be a fantastic location. We had to stay here due to storm damage at home and the staff are great!

Zen living is a low cost hotel. If you keep that in mind it's a pretty good deal. The staff is friendly and willing to help where they can. The building is old with the concomitant decay occurring. We (my wife and me) saw very few bugs, which is a perennial problem with the extended stay hotels I've been in. Other than the sound of children playing it was very quiet. The rooms are reasonably clean. It's NOT a Hilton. There are very few amenities, like ice machines, a gym, room service, or swimming pool. There is a laundry room. All in all it was a pleasant stay.

Please do yourself a favor and avoid this place. Location isn’t terrible, but the place is in urgent need of severe help. Really sketchy people hanging outside all night. Gave us a room that was supposed to be one of the “best”, walked in and it looked like someone was already staying in. The tv was on as well as the lights. The bed looked lumpy and the cover didn’t fit, and the door inside the room led to another room which made me feel wildly unsafe. I would 10000000% not recommend.

"Safety Hazard Inn" should be the name. I really would not recommend this place unless you are on a serious budget. Bring your own cleaning supplies (mainly bleach) to clean your room as soon as you get it because the rooms are not clean at all. The AC units are extremely dirty, dusty & sticky...hopefully you get one that works & doesn't smell like mold. The bedding & towels are horrible & stained (you're better off bringing your own), the floors are not swept or mopped so don't walk around or even shower barefoot. The shower walls are caked with soap scum from the previous 100+ guests and don't let the shower curtain touch your body, those haven't been changed in who knows how long!!!!! My reservations have always said the room comes with a fridge & microwave but that hasn't happened. You're lucky if you get both so pick which one you would rather have the most. The bugs are everywhere & they run the hotel so bring plenty of bug spray!! The staff is not very welcoming nor customer service friendly. I work in the hospitality industry & rule #1 has always been, every person/guest should be greeted with a smile! You will not get that here, just bad attitudes & ugly faces so be prepared. The staff just wants to get paid not work! I don't know who owns the hotel but they really should shut it down or get it together. I can't believe the town of Orange Park hasn't done anything about this place. Oh, you can also buy any drug you want from your neighbor so bring plenty of drug money, if that's your thing.

This place sucks! It's freaking disgusting! DO NOT stay there unless you absolutely have no other options! The place is old, dilapidated in an estate of ill repair! As soon as I walked in I immediately smelled the cigarette smoke, disgusting!. There was only one lamp in the room and the switch was broken. The only way to get it to work was to plug it in. There was a place where you can hang your clothes but there were no hangers. I opened top dresser drawer and there was trash left in there. The curtains were avocado which hasn't been in style since the 1970s and of course they were disgusting and ripped as well. We are filing a complaint with Expedia for false advertizing.

Hotel was disgusting. It smelt so bad, walls were dirty, shower was running from moment I checked in because it wouldn’t turn off. I asked front desk and was told “we know about it”. There appeared to be a hand mark on the wall that looked to be fecal matter. The floors looked as if they had flooded once and never was cleaned up. Linens were absolutely disgusting. Towel for the shower was so small it wouldn’t even cover my hand, and not to me this it was extremely thin almost non existent. Woman at front desk was nice, but doesn’t help the place with justice. Lots of tweakers and drug addicts living or at the area that just hang around your car. I paid for 2 nights wasn’t able for a refund and ended up at a better hotel and took the Loss of money. My health and well being has no price when it comes to safety. Will not go near this place that should be CONDEMNED.

I had the cheesesteak this time and it was great. The bread was nice and the steak well seasoned. It’s hard to find a decent cheesesteak in the area. I’ve a hot dog here before and it was also delicious. I love hot dog stands outside of hardware
