As stated in my previous review, I was determined to visit this restaurant and give it a try because of the owner's hospitable nature. I convinced my friend to accompany me for lunch and we were impressed with the service - the owner checked on us multiple times. I ordered the vegan pasta while my friend order the vegan dish. The the past was fresh and the vegan platter was particularly remarkable. If you enjoy watching soccer, the venue was packed with people watching the game. The atmosphere felt like I was back home.
I found this gem about a month ago and have visited at least 5 times now for pickup. Their customer service is far above average and their food is AMAZING. Pictured is the Veggie combo number 3. Highly recommend!!! I plan to dine in with them soon!

I called and asked for suggestions for food I could serve to a group later in the day. The woman that answered was patient and answered all my questions and was thoughtful about what would work best for what I needed. The food was delicious and our crowd, which consisted of several people unfamiliar with Ethiopian food, was won over. I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are looking for top quality food and great service.
Decent Ethiopian food. A lot of food for the money-but …. Not spicy. Even ordering extra spicy had no spice Service-SLOW. Have had lunch and dinner both times not very busy-and extremely slow service.
What truly stood out to me was the owner's dedication—he went so far as to check up on me afterward to ensure everything was okay. This personalized touch and commitment to customer care are why I ultimately rate him 5/5. It's a testament to how much he values his customers and is willing to go the extra mile for their satisfaction. As a customer, I would rate myself 0/5, The saying "customers are always right" doesn't always hold true. I mistakenly ate at the wrong restaurant, and an incident occurred. When I Googled the restaurant, Google directed me to the wrong location. After calling the restaurant, I informed the owner, who was incredibly sincere and went above and beyond to ensure my well-being. It was only later that I realized I had been at the wrong place. I happily rate ZeMeda a perfect 5/5 because it truly reflects his exceptional care for customers and his commitment to going above and beyond. Very good beef tibs - some of the vegetarian sides were solid and a few excellent. I would return just for the tibs.
