Zaytoon’s Bistro - Mediterranean restaurant in West Hartford - 165 Park Rd, USA

We had an amazing catered event by Omar and the team at Zatoon's. The food was incredible, fresh delicious. Perfectly prepared. This is an excellent restaurant with the freshest food. Thank you Omar and staff for making this such a perfect party.

Want something different than pizza in West Hartford? Different than Chinese? Want the old-school feel of walking into a place that serves food they would serve at home. Where the owner comes to your table to talk. Where you want the staff to sit down and eat and talk with you. This is it. I am of Mediterranean heritage, and this is the food that I grew up with. Brought my mom last night who said this was as good as the stuff she makes at home. Amazing food. Leave stuffed every time. BYOB, which I really like, and if you don’t bring your own, there’s a liquor store two stores down. the owner is so friendly he will leave an offer. Hugs at the end. Order anything on the menu that you want. It’s all good, but always leave one entrée off on ordered. Save room for dessert. Even if you’re not a sweet tooth person save room. Some Mediterranean Lebanese desserts you’ve had, but some you’ve never had before. Just say that I’ll be back would be an understatement.

Delicious falafel and eggplant wrap- BIG enough to share or to take half home for dinner. Service was slow, but staff was pleasant and accommodating. Space was big and open. Could benefit from better lighting for ambiance. Will go back when in town.

Food is not tasty. It was too salty and after waiting 30 mins they gave us cold food. The rice was not even fresh. Overall not a good place to try. Needs lot of improvement on food and service.

Eat here!! We are visiting from NY and can say this is some of the best food we've EVER had. The flavors of the food were incredible, well seasoned and very delicious ! Would recommend the baba ghanoush, lamb kofta, and chicken kebab. On top of this, the owners are incredibly kind and treated us like friends. Thank you Zaytoon’s !!!

West Hartford has so many good restaurants, and Zaytoon is our favorite! Great variety on their menu including lots of vegetarian choices. Every dish we’ve tried is delicious!!

Zaytoon’s have opened a new bistro larger in size on New Britain Avenue. We had a large group and it was fabulous. Zainab and Omar the owners as well as the staff were amazing! The food was delicious well prepared, timely served and every staff member had an eye on the table to make sure we had everything we needed. Omar introduced us to a dessert which was divine called. “Knafeh” we devoured it and all wanted more - We had a variety of dishes from their very diverse menu something for everyone, all fresh and home cooked. ALL 10 of us now lovers of this new find, and will return on a regular basis with new friends joining us! Kudos to Omar and Zainab WELL DONE. My mouth is watering thinking about the Knafeh! What a wonderful dining experience none of us will soon forget!

Where do I even begin….!!The food, service, and atmosphere of this place is AMAZING!! The baba ghanoush was OVER THE MOON good and the main dish was EVEN better. The flavor is EVERYTHING!! We had baklava for desert and it was so good!! Highly recommend!! I may just have to come back all the way from NY!!
