Z&Z – Manoushe Bakery - Restaurant in Rockville - 1111 Nelson St, USA

I visited Z&Z Bakery on a busy Sunday morning around 11 am, and from the moment I walked in, the irresistible aroma of freshly baked goods surrounded me. The place was abuzz with activity--every table occupied, a line of customers awaiting their orders, and another forming to place new ones. The lively atmosphere hinted at the bakery's popularity. Observing the customers before me confidently placing sizable orders, some even exceeding $100, further heightened my expectations. Upon the cashier's recommendation, I decided to try the Hot Halaby Honey. Trusting her suggestion proved to be a GREAT choice as the dish exceeded my expectations. The flavors were a perfect fusion of sweetness from the honey and a hint of spice. While I personally enjoy a bit more heat, the balance was still commendable, resulting in a dish that was not only delicious but also left me wanting MORE!

Service was quick and staff was really friendly! I ordered the Lebanese bride and the hot halaby honey. Both were incredibly delicious. Dough was so soft and melted in my mouth. Even after eating leftovers several hours later, food was just as delicious. I will 100% be back to try other menu items.

This is a unique and different restaurant than any other restaurant I've tried. They serve Middle Eastern versions of "pizza" with incredible flavors bursting out of every bite. Service is fast and friendly. The downside is that the dining area is rather small, and they only open Thu - Sun. But overall this is a great restaurant and highly recommend you give it a try.

This place is so special. You won’t find anyone working with these flavors at this level. The flatbread is sensational- the spicing, the toppings, we ate every bite (as in, ate the fallen tomatoes off the plate). Rockville denizens know this spot and frequent it.

This place is a hidden gem in the Rockville area. All Mana’esh and pizza heaven. On top on that the service is very nice and they are very generous. I ordered zataar and hot halabi sausage and laham b-agen and owner got us another lebneh as a gift. Definitely coming back👍🏼

Hidden gem in the neighborhood of Rockville. The flat breads are so beyond pizza and full of flavor. We were also offered a small tasting of chai tea which was so delish after dinner right at closing. We will definitely be back.

We have eaten in and ordered take out from here. The flatbreads are incredible fresh out of the oven, the zaatar and lahm bi ajeen were delicious, among the best pizzas I've eaten. But I would say it is not nearly as good when it cools down so I would definitely recommend eating there instead of takeout and enjoying when it's hot. The owner talked to us and was very friendly so we enjoyed that aspect as well.

First time visited the place with half of my family to support our beloved brothers and sisters from Palestine 🇵🇸. Loved the ambience,the music, the delicious food MashaAllah! TabarakAllah 🤲❤️❤️❤️! Thank you for the amazing hospitality!
