Zakuro - Japanese restaurant in Lincoln - 835 Twelve Bridges Dr, USA

First time stopped here for lunch and were pleasantly surprised. Both had the lunch combos. The salmon (teriyaki) was the best I’ve had since we moved to CA three years ago. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be back.

We were out and about and decided to skip Orchid Thai this time and try the Sushi Place nearby. We were not disappointed by trying a new thing. Price: I would say this is mid-priced sushi. Not $7 rolls but also not $20 or more rolls. I felt like the portions we received were fair for the price. What we ordered and liked: Oceans 12 roll Super California roll California roll Shogun Gyoza 🥟 Chicken Teriyaki And shrimp tempura. The chicken was tender and the teriyaki was not too sweet. The rolls were of decent size and they did not skimp on ingredients. Lots of expensive fish eggs yummy. The staff was friendly and attentive. They were very welcoming and accommodating of us. The only thing negative I will say is that the tables and fixtures were old and the place was a bit dark. I think a remodel is in order but that has little to do with the food. I will come back when I’m in the Lincoln area again. This place left me wanting more.

As always, their chefs are masters at their art of making sushi. The Sashimi Combo was great and their Pepper Fin dish was mouth watering. Totally recommend them.

From the UK, ate here multiple times on various trips and it is always delicious and high quality Japanese cuisine, focused mainly on sushi but also have fantastic ramen, udon and bento like combination plates, highly recommend the teriyaki and gyoza combo plate. Staff are attentive, friendly and kind and the restaurant is always clean, outdoor seating avaliable also

This place is a hidden gem for those of you outside of Lincoln. The food is AMAZING and it's really high quality and good portions for the money. Staff is courteous as well.

My experience today here was good the service was good no issues, other than I would of liked if the lunch order came with a drink and maybe some Soy sauce and napkins. The Sushi I picked was made different then I've had before.. Only Imitation crab, avocado, rice, sea weed wrap and sesame seeds, the second item on my lunch combo I chose was Teriyaki Chicken and Rice it was tasty but kinda had a hint of wine in the marinade on a small bed of cabbage, the salad was salad with a homemade style dressing delicious. Overall for $14 I thought it was fair presentation was as good as takeout can be but yep sushi could of used some Soy Sauce, Thank you for a tasty lunch!!

My husband and I decided we wanted sushi. We googled restaurants in the area and saw this one had a good menu selection as was in a good price range. It was beyond fantastic the two of us were in with the flavor profile of the food! Our only complaint was that it was gone too soon! It was such an amazing restaurant. The atmosphere was also nice with the fountain outside and there is plenty of wide spaced seating. We will be telling our friends and family about this place!

This place is a Lincoln gem. We always enjoy the food. Peter was our waiter, and he worked with us to provide an overall outstanding culinary experience. We had sashimi, oysters, a custom roll (shown here), and more oysters. I highly recommend you stop in for the BEST sushi in Lincoln.
