My husband and I had a great experience at this restaurant. He got the vegan club and I got the self serve hot bar/salad bar. The food was delicious. I loved how many vegan options were offered. Definitely recommend the duality iced tea as well. The man who was working the counter was very friendly and helpful too. We will definitely come back next time we visit Burlington.
One of the most unique eateries I have ever been in. They serve you nice piping hot soup in an authentic ceramic bowl. I had a great time enjoying my soup streetside. Also, I want to expose this incredible painting that is on the lower level of this restaurant, how awesome is that?
Delicious food! They offer a Hot bar & cold bar with the option for Z&E to create your meal for you based on your dietary choice (vegan, vegetarian, etc.) great Vegan options. Seating was a little too intimate for my liking so we sat outside but do not let that deter you! will definitely be back anytime we visit!
Good god, this place was amazing. We were on a road trip and looking for something healthy. This place ticked all the boxes with healthy, delicious food. There was a variety for everyone in our party, it was in a central location right downtown, everyone was very friendly who worked there, the atmosphere and decor was top-notch and unique. Three out of the four people in our party were not vegetarians and yet everyone loved it. Actually, I think there was some chicken for them in the Buffet. I ordered the hot and cold bar and piled my plate high with $20 worth of food and didn’t regret one single bite or dollar. This by far stands out as one of the coolest and delicious restaurants I’ve ever been to. And I’ve traveled all over the world! I loved the open air feel and all the plants. It was very cozy and inviting. There’s nothing bad about this place at all!!
Great lunch spot with a wide selection. The buffet option is amazing. Soups and sandwiches were delicious . To top it off the sweets are a must and feel free to take out. By the time we departed the spot was filled with locals
We have been coming here since my daughter’s freshman year at UVM. It has been amazing each and every time. The food is amazing along with the super friendly staff. Great vegan and meat options from the menu, the hot self-service bar and there is always a delicious daily special. Great selections of deserts, breads fresh brewed iced teas and, of course, soups. Without a doubt one of our favorite places to eat anywhere. We highly suggest that you take our word and enjoy a delicious meal if you are in the area. You’ll be happy you did!
Very wide variety of vegan and vegetarian food. They also have a few meat options. The atmosphere of the restaurant was very comfortable and laid-back with friendly staff. Judging by the amount of people who came in after me, this place is very popular. I came for the chicken liver sandwich, which had a lot of flavor and different elements to it. I could tell that this was a well thought out sandwich. Unfortunately, I really couldn’t taste the chicken liver, which was the main draw for me, so I was disappointed. I also tried the butternut squash and brown rice soup. It was a pretty basic butternut squash soup, not a lot of flavor though.
Loved every aspect of this dining experience. The food was fresh, tasty, and beautiful to look at. They make the best chocolate babka that I’ve ever eaten. Be sure to take in the historical photos too. The staff is super friendly and kind. Thank you.
