It is the perfect place to casually yet classically catch up with friends over delicious cocktails. I liked that they had a few options of mocktails. I had one that had just the right hint of lavender, but my friend's drinks with raspberries looked more delicious! The service was excellent and great vibe. I will be definitely coming back.

I have never given a one-star review before, and am sad to have to do it now. I've been to YCC several times. To start off the evening, I asked if I could get a rum and coke, and rather than politely explaining that rum isn't one of the local spirits or options they have from the distillery, our bartender answered with a short "no" before finally saying "we're a tasting room." She didn't offer any suggestions or options. As they don't serve food, I have brought carry out in several times. Tonight, as in the past, a friend and I wanted to have dinner with our cocktails. We went across the street to Ma Lou's and brought it in. First, the bartender asked us to move tables to not get anything on the couch. As if dropping a french fry is worse than spilling a cocktail. Then, she brings us our tabs without asking us if we want anything else. When I went to the restroom, she came over to my friend and said to not bring in Ma Lou's again. My friend said she had brought outside food and Ma Lou's before, to which the employee replied "there's a difference between crudités and something that makes the place smell like fried chicken." I have brought food several times before, I have brought Ma Lou's several times before, and Bobcat Bonnie's dinner, and always been treated graciously. This was really unprecedented behavior... not just for Ypsi Cocktail Club, but for any restaurant/service I have ever encountered. I'm sad a local business has been ruined for me. I love supporting my downtown Ypsi businesses, and will not be coming in again.

Fantastic cocktail bar that exclusively uses Michigan-made spirits. I believe they're owned by Ann Arbor Distilling Co. They change up the menu every so often, which really keeps things fresh. Great vibe and friendly patrons that are easy to strike conversation with. Service is sometimes a little slow, but the drinks are worth it. P.S. The "Holiday Lights" was one of the best cocktails I've ever had. And I've been to several acclaimed bars in NY, Los Angeles, and Denver. Please keep it on the menu!

Absolutely wonderful! You really can not beat the $8 happy hour every day until 6pm, especially for the quality of cocktail!! Even the full price is a good deal for the original ideas and fresh ingredients used. The menu rotates seasonally but the bartenders are all great and happy to make other standard cocktails. The atmosphere is elegant but approachable. The decor evokes a glamorous past with hints of modern. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy a delicious cocktail!

I had my daughters reception in the upper part of the bar that is available for rent. The price was very reasonable. Great atmosphere and the staff very accommodating. Their drink selections are very creative and delicious. I highly recommend this place for an event or just a night out.

Had such a good time with friends I forgot to post my delicious and pretty drink- Dominic the Donkey. Beautiful little bar (cocktails, spirits only- no beer or wine). No food either but they served tasty nuts after a bit. Also you can bring in food to eat or have it delivered there from nearby restaurants. Loved the music and the bartenders were both very friendly and good service. Lovely spot in Ypsilanti for a drink- we’ll be back!

Very nice selection of Michigan based booze. The menu had a wide selection of drinks I've never seen and new takes on old classics. Our server was sweet and friendly. Comfy spot to get a few cocktails in.

Their drinks are pricey, the seasonal fall menu didn't sit well with anyone in my group. We got two drinks from it and hated both. I didn't even finish mine. I have come here before in the summer and liked my drink though so I will try again with a different drink.
