Walked in at about 10:20 on a Friday night to lighting that you'd expect to see at 2am, when the bar wants everybody out. No idea why a pool hall would have it so bright. One bartender for a pretty full house, there were maybe 2 or 3 available tables. The bartender took care of her regulars, even ran food out all over the bar, and never even acknowledged us after standing at the bar for 10+ mins. If you're not already a regular, save yourself the time and go anywhere else.

On Jan 28th, around 645pm me and my lady walked in to the place, sat the bar and the bartender didn't even speak nor say hey guys welcome, I'll be with you shortly. We sat there for 15 minutes without being acknowledged. Then a white couple walked in and he immediately went over to ask them what they wanted to drink. So when he came close to the area we asked can we place a drink order. He didn't say anything and walked away. Now he might be a racist POS...so we immediately left. I called to speak with a manager and he stated that he was the only person there...his name was Eric. I believe that he was lying but he's not worth my time nor money. SO if you are black and this fat guy is there...leave this place isn't worth your time and money.

It's still the same place as it's been since the '90s. [Breaker's] Same layout, same tables. The tables desperately need to be recovered..... At minimum. Get some one in there to level them back up. New felt, etc. As it is... Prices are very reasonable. Update: New tables were put in a few years back as well as a non-smoking section next door. Last time I went they still needed to remodel their bathrooms.

Very friendly staff. The boom boom shrimp are amazing. Inexpensive place with nice pool tables gaming machines and very polite staff. Looking forward to my next visit.

The Bartender Eric never acknowledged me sitting at the bar I sat there for 15 minutes so soon as a white guy steps up to the bar Eric went to him and took his order when I spoke up on the situation stating I’ve been waiting before the man he continued to serve this man I feel this was a prejudice situation completely when I asked for a manager Eric stated it wasn’t one it was so much discrimination going on please BLACK LIVES MATTER DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE

Beware. Ended up paying almost $30 for barely 1 hour of pool. Sign on the door says $11 per hour. Go to pay and suddenly its 26 dollars somehow. Tried to explain that the sign says otherwise and the lady said it was in multiples of $7. ??? Absolutely baffling. If I had paid per game with coins, which is an option, it would have been a fraction of that. Bad bad bad experience and extremely bright fluorescent lighting. If you do go, which is not recommended, pay per game and do not give your card beforehand.

Very nice place to grab a drink and play pool. In my case, a place to get beat in pool by my husband, Ty.

Nice & Neat place to spend your time & have some fun with your friends & family ,Great Service & atmosphere !! Definitely one of my favorite places in Richmond!!
