We made a quick stop at this spot for breakfast on our way to Diversey Harbor. Friendly service. It seemed like the people working were all friends & got along well, which is nice! Tasty breakfast food- you can tell that the guys in the back kitchen were working very hard. It seems like they have a busy takeout/delivery business for breakfast. The food was good and so was the coffee. The only exception was the cinnamon roll which tasted like it was at least a day old. The awnings outside definitely need a cleaning and brightening up, that would make the place look much more inviting. I’ll go back!
The food is a little hit or miss. Croque madame is great, the potatoes are wonderful, the crepes were underseasoned, and the grits were watery. great staff, very cute restaurant
It was okay. Funny mildew/dirty mop smell at booth. I had the Eggs Benedict. I substituted crispy bacon for Canadian bacon-bacon was good. Hollandaise was watery and had too much lemon. I had the breakfast potatoes. I did not enjoy those. Taste like they are from frozen. My companion had the French Toast. Large portion was served with syrup and powdered sugar. She enjoyed it. She was missing a fresh fruit garnish. Coffee was good.
We stopped here for breakfast and were blown away. Food was great, but the real star was our server August. One of the best servers we've ever had! He was attentive, had a great personality, and he also gave us great tips about finding our way around town. Fantastic!
Ate here twice in a row because we loved it so much! The breakfast mac and cheese was gooey and delicious, the French toast was also sweet and delicious. The second day I had the eggs bennie capreese which was also super yummy.
The food is always solid here. No frills, but delicious. The only issue I have is with the coffee. It’s a bit bitter and I always forget this until I’ve settled at the table. The waitress says some people like it and some hate it. Why not have two coffee options then? Otherwise, service is good and friendly, and food comes quickly when it’s not busy (I normally visit on weekday mornings.) Overall a solid breakfast place.
Stopped in for breakfast while visiting the old neighborhood. Service was quick and attentive. Breakfast was decent. My husband ordered French toast and a large milk, I ordered Oatmeal with toppings added and a coffee. There is not much you can do to mess up breakfast so I typically rate my experience by the drinks. My husband's large drink was served in a 6 oz glass that at first I thought was my creamer. Our waters were served in the same size glass (they looked like old jelly jars). It was just very unusual and small (and expensive for the size at $3). I didn't care for the coffee, which was lukewarm. Also it tasted similar to Starbucks coffee and I am not a fan of Starbucks as they over-roast their beans. Oatmeal was good though and it was a healthy portion so I appreciated the amount of toppings to balance the bowl. It was a little pricey for two for breakfast ($50 with tip).
The service, location and atmosphere here is great. However, what’s lacking is the food. If you’re in a fix and really need breakfast this is it. However not somewhere you want to show off to visitors or friends.
The worst was the Nutella crepes. The crepe itself tasted way too eggy and we could only eat the parts that had a lot of Nutella.
The home style potatoes were ok (needed seasoning, bless their hot sauce), freshly squeezed orange juice was good. The chilaquiles verdes were also decent.

Have been wanted to try this place a long time and was intimidated by the wait time. We were there a Saturday around 1030 and the wait was not that bad, like 10 mins. I really like the holiday French toast, it looks and tastes like holiday season. My
Love this place. My Eggs Benedict was perfect, and the house made hollandaise did not disappoint. The cheesy grits were PERFECT, and the oatmeal and fresh berries were a delight. Service was prompt and attentive, and the decor is bright and cheerful,
We went early on a Saturday and it was not busy at all. I definitely expected it to be. The food was delicious, hot, and delivered to our table quickly. It was a little chilly even with my jacket but well worth it. :)
A fairly nice breakfast cafe with ample seating. Food is reasonably priced with ample portions, pancakes have a lot of added vanilla but I think that helped them stand out and be a bit tastier.
Self branded hot sauce at the table is a nice touch and
Very nice experience! The food, atmosphere & service was excellent! You could actually have a conversation at your table without having to scream! The food was presented well & tasted great! The mimosas were great as well. I will definitely be return
My son absolutely loves LifeTough Kids Boxing. He is in his second session, now in intermediates and we canât wait to see where the next level takes him. The coaches are absolutely incredible and the time and dedication they put towards the kids
In Chicago and stopped by this place. Grand opening for them. Wonderful people with a great spirit overall. Had a chance to dive into the whole thing of coffee coming from Ethiopia after meeting their African-American roaster of coffee. Lovely time -
I'm writing this review after taking a full year of classes at Vibez. Initially, I bought class packs and then signed up for the monthly membership (8 classes a month) once I knew it was a good fit. Over the course of 2023, I lost more than 20 pounds
Ive been coming to the Garage Gym heavy AF classes for 6 weeks now and absolutely love them! I was previously just doing one class a week and purchased the five pack, but I decided to move forward with a membership to start going multiple times a wee
I recently joined CrossFit Park Ridge and hands down, best choice Iâve made. Very warm and welcoming community. Workouts are challenging and never boring. And coaches are great! My only regret is not joining sooner.

This apartment was a great find for us. We had 4 adults and 5 kids and had plenty of space to fit us all comfortably. Importantly for our group the kitchen is well equipped - there have been many places we've stayed where there aren't enough bowls an
I tell all my friends who visit Chicago, or move there to check out Fly Club. The instructors are top-tier and it's a privilege to have so much talent in one facility. The spaces are beautiful, and the community is very welcoming. Even if you're a gu
We love Cafe Calida so much. We came here our last two mornings of our trip and regretted not coming earlier. Great menu with delicious pastries. My husband got a mocha and I got a Chai latte and they were both so delicious. Our first morning we came
Pizza was great. I love this style of pizza. Itâs a great place for a low key date night. Prices were extremely reasonable, especially for the quality. It is a family run business, the family has 2 generations of pizza making experience. Itâs a s
