This park has an updated play area and i like it but it doesn’t get much recognition. It is hidden it’s Yokuts Park the playground itself looks to be clean and kept up with like it is cleaned a few trash bins here and there and trash on the floor but it’s clean at least the playground area. There are restrooms but I did not use the restrooms therefore can’t give much on that, just that as soon as you park you see the restrooms and the playground. It is dog friendly a lot of dogs today as it’s Sunday but like most parks there isn’t the doggy bags post by the trash bins. So much room to run and play our dog loves it. There are shaded picnic areas as well as unshaded. The shaded area closest to the playground has only two tables. The rest are a few back and walking distance. My kids still love the park and with a little and another on the way we will be frequently coming to parks the park by our house isn’t much so we drive around looking for parks and all.
Nice wide open park with a lot of space, decently maintained playgrounds albeit a bit old. Lot of groundhog holes in the ground though, so watch your step!
Huge park and cool location right on the Kern River. The playground if neat but in need of a remodel. Quite a few homeless hang out there every time I’ve ever gone there, but never felt in any danger. Cool place to have lunch or a picnic.
The community had a Blue Zone fair to support and educate people on how to live a healthier life. They had many booths with information and some had food samples.
The big down side were all the squirrel holes.
The park is great! Wide expensive space, TONS of squirrels for the kids to chase. There's a big play ground and little play ground for different ages. Lots of benches and tables, lots of trees. There's also large harness swings for disabled children. There's a walking path as well.
Rad as ever , flowing water playgrounds fun and huge !!
Love all the table benches it has. Great playground for children, 25 steps away is the good size restroom. Park has lots of trees, shady , squirrels running happy
This is an updated playground and has plenty of sensory play. This playground has bathrooms, that mind you, aren’t the greatest but they work. The bike path is near and there are some random people parked and some homeless that go around to walk the path on the opposite side. We loved this updated park though!
It's close and easy to get to. The camp ground is very nice with alot of trees and the sound of the river, (especially at night when going to sleep), is very peaceful. They have brand new bathrooms and showers . Loved this place will definitely be ba
I can't tell u enough how much I love hiking up and down the bluffs ð family fun! My dog loves it! Really great...my little get away that's just down the street from my pad.
We had a great time playing at the Spray park with my 3 year old daughter. It is pretty busy during the weekend. There is always a birthday party ðððð going on so I think people must reserve the place. Great place to bring your little one
I'm not from bakersfield but seeing this place was magical, the ducks being fed by people, the beauty of the area was honestly breath-taking. It was very lovely experience and I plan to come back with my little family.
It was my first time going here to attend a birthday party and I was immediately stricken with awe, I saw people playing and walking their dogs and children happily at play with their parents, it was a beautiful sight and heartwarming to say the leas
Stopped for dinner in Bakersfield on our way to San Jose. We enjoyed some pupusas - shrimp for hubby & loroco (squash flower) for me. The chicken tamal was very fluffy and had more of a spongy texture. The plantain empanadas were very rich and creamy
