Yogis Grill - Japanese restaurant in Gilbert - 70 S Val Vista Dr, USA

Spending a lot of time out in gilbert lately, and a friend knows that I love sushi. So we've been going to some different places every time I come to hang out. This particular restaurant is by far one of the best places to eat for the price. It's hard to see and hard to find, but when you do, the food is well worth it. Service was very friendly, just a nice spot to eat lunch without a lot of people. Again, the food is worth the drive, and i'm at I seventeen and thunderbird.

I got the beef teriyaki bowl with white rice and steamed veggies. The place was clean, had different sauces to take home or dine inside. Food came fast and was delicious. They had options to substitute for low carb or vegetarian as well

There's plenty of seating here with mostly booth-style seats. The area was kept pretty clean. The food itself was okay- they put the meat on top of the rice and you mix it in after. The portion size for the regular bowl is good if you want to eat healthy- the meat was enough for one serving- although considering the price... wish they added more. The only downside was the katsu sauce tasted kind of sour (not a big fan of the flavor)- wish I didn't put it over the meat and rice. Other than that, food was decent. Service was good- they do cook it fresh so there was a few minutes wait.

Yogis is usually good, so maybe today was an exception. I ordered the chicken teriyaki bowl. The chicken was burnt. Not only could I feel the char as I'm trying to pick it up with a fork, but I could easily taste it. When a restaurant burns food, I wish they would just remake it. I'd rather have to wait an additional 5-10 minutes for a good meal than to get home, find out its burnt. tastes horrible and have to complain via a Google rating!

This location is the absolute best , I have been to several other locations and this one supercedes them all by far, the food is always great and the service is what really sets this location apart. I absolutely love when I am in the area and have the chance to come to here

The bowls were very good, however the "salad" was not as described. Their side salad consists of a fist fill of spring mix (which is bitter) and according to staff is the base for most of their salads. The description for their salads says they are served with romaine & iceberg lettuce, carrots, red cabbage, tomato, crunchy noodles and sesame ginger dressing. However, their side salad has no description and they do not tell you prior to ordering that is just a spring mix with their sesame dressing. Gross. The iceberg and romaine lettuce make the sesame dressing work. Bitter spring mix does not. I ordered this to go and didn't notice this until I got home. I called the next day and all the staff did was argue that this was what they served, even though I was looking for them to clarify this with patrons in the future. Misleading. If you want a good rice bowl though, this is the place. Meat and teriyaki sauce was good. Service, other than management's inability to satisfy a customer and make clarifications regarding their salads in the future, was also good. I'll be back as they are generally a good place for take out, I just won't be paying $2.99 for a bunch of bitter lettuce.

Well served dishes. We have had a variety of bowls over several visits. Meats are well seasoned. Their sauces are a plus! Simple - meats (chicken or beef) and rice, but good and filling! Occasionally add the noodles option and side dishes.

They are very friendly and our special orders were done very accurately. The food is delicious!
