Our stay was wonderful. The staff was attentive and always available when we had questions. We had a little birthday party for our son on his 7th birthday. We invited some of the staff and other campers who celebrated with us and we had cake. He was so excited when the rode up later in there golf cart and brought a birthday balloon and sign and even a birthday present of a yogi bear pillow making kit. He said it was the best day ever. This resort offers so many activities to keep everyone entertained and even got my kids to try new things like tubing. We have already booked again to go back next July.
The best place to start is by saying how awesome the entire staff was. Especially Claudia, from the very first phone call to the follow up calls (after my wife was hospitalized) and eventually check in. She patiently listened to our dilemma and worked out an awesome solution. Thank you Claudia! Now for the camp ground itself. What an awesome place. No better place to celebrate a Halloween weekend. The camp ground is extremely kid/family friendly with many things to do. The Halloween weekends include site decorating, costume contest, a haunted trail, a not so haunted trail for the little ones, magic pumpkin seeds, golf cart decorating and finally trick or treating. Because of Lazy River we have a whole new appreciation for Halloween. There are many great sites to choose from along the water, on the hill, some more secluded sites, tent sites and lots of cabins. From what I could see most RV sites are quite level despite being gravel. There are larger concrete padded sites as well. The terrain is perfect for walking and/or bike riding. I can imagine how much fun this place is in the summertime when the pool and lazy river are open. A pavilion (with an amazing view) is located on top of the hill for gathering and/or private parties. So much more can be said, but let's leave at we'll definitely be back.
This was my families first time camping. We had no idea what to expect. The camp site was easy to find, clean and quiet. At night the stars were so bright my daughter thought you could actually touch them. We rented out a tent space, our neighbors were a nice distance away so we were not bothered at all. There are also many activities to do at this particular location. We had a great time and look forward to returning.
We went for our first time in July. We had the absolute best time and I knew we had to return for a Halloween weekend. I surprised my kids with a trip one weekend, and we had the best time. They had enough activities to keep us busy the entire trip! We added fun passes for each of my kids and it was totally worth it. We loved the decorated sites and there were so many kids dressed up trick or treating. My kids said if they had to pick between a summer visit or a Halloween weekend they would choose Halloween!
We stayed late into November before the end of the season. First time back in years and had an absolute blast! Rented a golf cart to check out the park and the whole family loved it. Watching the local skydivers parachuting down was amazing as well. Amenities and hookups worked fine, no issues or complaints for our 30 amp. Highly recommend a stay🤙🏻
The place of very nice. But when you get a phone call from the so-called security? That they are. Holding? Your children until. You? Come and get them giving our. Children anxiety make an nervous scared. and threaten an with the state police. So they basically kidnap our kids. Our kids never want to leave a camp site accept for today. They could not wait to get out of there. We have stayed at many campgrounds and many jolly stone parks and by far This was the worst one ever. There was 7 different campers that we all went down with and that's not like. It's cheap and for the kids to get an experience like that is out of control. You can't even tell that the security is security because they don't even wear shirts that say security. I have several phone calls in to the office. I will see if they call me back on Monday to see what they are going to do about this. If not it will be further consequences with that Campground. Show have you ever do say at this camp ground? Please be careful of your children with their security.
Claudia helped arrange for my family to go over one of the Halloween weekends. It was sooo much fun, my grandchildren who are 3 and 4 loved it so much. Claudia helped arrange it all and had everything run smoothly. Such a wonderful place with great management and visitors. We have been the last 2 years and hope to go again to enjoy all the water park activities this summer. Many many thanks Claudia!!! What a kind person you are. God bless
Java New York location is our favorite! We love the cabins and the attractions. They make it so convenient for kids to enjoy themselves. We love riding around and looking at the campsites and campers and everyone is so friendly. The lake has plenty of fish when we go so we really enjoy fishing! Thank you for making such a great place for families to enjoy their summer vacations!

You guys donât know whatâs the local food yet in upstate. This place only uses local farm product, which first time I could say the difference of the freshness. Highly recommend to try this place. Forgot what fish but look at the size. Especial
Went for lunch and ate outside. Nice large patio with comfy seats. Portions were huge & prices very reasonable. We all took home leftovers. Waitress was great and was able to provide separate checks for our party of 7. .
My wife and I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Minnewaska Lodge in Gardiner, NY, and our experience was absolutely delightful. The awe-inspiring views of the Shawangunk Mountains provided a breathtaking backdrop, and the hiking trails allo
