Had our first trip there this weekend. We loved it. The staff we encountered was great with the exception of check in and the young lady didn’t seem thrilled to be there but outside of that they were all wonderful. Loved our site. The property very well maintained as well as the bathhouses extremely clean. We thought the restaurant was really good for dinner but the cafe by the pool is way out priced. The amenities are also wonderful. Why the 3 stars?….well for those of us that enjoy doing lots of camping this place is just high. For us it’s not a place we would say is a regular because of pricing. If it weren’t for such high pricing it would be a once a month go to spot and probably several weeks a year. Quite a few open sites this weekend and from hearing others if pricing was lower the park would have been packed. We had friends that stayed in a small cabin for three nights that cost them over $1200 not including a golf cart and believe me you need a golf cart. Our experience was great but I have to emphasize pricing is just crazy.

This was our first time traveling with our camper, we normally keep it at the beach so that was an adventure all on its on. From the moment we got there everything and everyone was so nice. Very well informed of information that was needed for the weekend. We stayed on top of the hill on one of the concrete pads and this was an amazing camp spot. The whole time we were there everything was calming and well organized. Me and my family will definitely be back for many more fun trips and we cant wait!

This campground is absolutely beautiful!! The bathrooms are clean and the area around it is clean as well. Everything is very well maintained. The staff is very helpful, and willing to go above and beyond for all the guests at the park. We have stayed here twice now, and plan on going back. Recommend get a golf cart to tour the entire park and all the spectacular views. The alpine coaster is also a fun to do.

We enjoyed all of the amenities Jellystone provided. The only thing we wish we could change would be the pricing of the golf carts. If you have children with you, you pretty much need to rent a golf cart since some of the cabins are far away from everything. I can't imagine walking everywhere with small children. $50/day for a golf cart is pretty pricey for us. Also, the food a Scout's table is overpriced for the type of food and quality it is served at. Otherwise, Jellystone was great! Very clean cabin, pool areas, etc.

We stayed here in July, and it was the best family staycation we've taken yet! The camp is a little over an hour away from Charlotte. We stayed in a beautiful log cabin right across from the lake. Every activity is planned around the kids, and most are included in your stay. Great for young kids too as my son had just turned four. Staff are friendly and helpful. The property is very well maintained. Our cabin was very clean. An added bonus is that our dog was able to join us on this trip and she could stay in the pet-friendly cabin with the cool AC blasting while we were busy during the day. I would recommend renting a golf cart to get around because the camp is very big - plus you can join the nightly parades! Needless to say, we will be returning next summer!

We liked our experience so much we extended another week. If it wasn’t sold out, we would have stayed a little longer. We loved the mountains, our RV spot, the different cabins, the look out from where to see the sunrise over the mountains, the jacuzzis, the rec area and equipment, the halloween celebration, but most of all the staff, especially Frank. From day one, Frank kept checking on us and asking us how he could help make our stay more enjoyable, and delivered every single time. If I could recommend anything, it would be a better sign at the entrance to the 600’s park. We missed it, and had to turn around in a tight road. So did two others while we were here. But we definitely recommend this place, and we’ll be back. Thank you Frank and the whole Yogi Bear family!

I want to begin by saying that our family had a fantastic time at this campground. There was so much to do, and the campground is beautiful this time of year. However, we did have some issues with the cabin that we stayed in. Hundreds of lady bugs invaded our cabin, they came from the windows and the doors. We understand that we are in the woods and some little critters may get in, but this was a full invasion. They were everywhere! It was quite nasty. Also, many of the windows had no curtains or blinds. This is definitely a privacy issue. Most of the staff was friendly enough; however, there was one lady working at the arts and craft center that snappy and rude. She assumed she knew what I was going to ask, and didn’t let me talk. She kept speaking over me. She never apologized when she finally realized that she didn’t know what I was going to ask and continued to speak over me. She retained her snappy attitude. Again, I’d like to reiterate that our family had a great time at Jellystone. After all, most of the time we were enjoying the outdoors. We would most definitely come back if we knew these issues were resolved.

This place is great. We have been twice and my family loves it. The cabins are great and there are so many activities. My kids can play on the fibit all day. The staff is amazingly helpful. Our dog got out once and they helped us track him down in the woods. Can’t say enough good stuff. Definitely go
