YMCA of the Northwoods - Non-profit organization in Rhinelander - 2003 E Winnebago St, USA

YMCA of the Northwoods is very welcoming to seniors (juniors too) for age appropriate exercise classes. I have attended 2 exercise classes and a balance class. All were very positive. Participants were challenged at their individual level and there was nothing but positive participation. One can usually judge quality and satisfaction by the size and tenure of participation. The best thing of all was how welcoming the atmosphere was. This is a great asset to the community and contributes to the health of those attending I suspect.

Friendly staff. We use the track for inside walking. Clean. Modern.Recent beautiful addition to the building. Many things offered. Beautiful pool area.

I use the recumbent elliptical to exercise three times a week. You have four of them but only one works well. I have complained before and have been told that they were fixed but they weren't. Horrible loud noises, jerky movement. Someone is going to get hurt if you don't replace the three bad ones.

We were visiting and have a Y membership. Been to several other Y's by far today was the most difficult to check in. Some of the equipment seemed well used. Whirlpool wasn't working.

This is a nice YMCA. The staff is friendly and helpful. The fitness center has basically everything you need to get a decent workout in. The equipment is in good condition. They don't have everything a larger YMCA might but overall they are a good facility for Rhinelander.

Very cool. They have a lot of activities for your children and family.... you've got to become a member first though or the programs could possibly add up financially, especially if you have multiple children. However, they do have an option to apply for a family membership for lower income families which is a positive for sure.

We're excited to start going there for exercise and swimming. It looks like a great facility. Jessica gave us a thorough tour, was very informative, and polite.
