I finally got to go back and visit "my" childhood park! It is still so beautiful, lots of space to run around and play. There are gorgeous, locally (possibly hand made) works of art to enjoy. It's peaceful, and kinda feels like you're heading into the woods. There's still so many trees!! 😀 I'm so happy I was able to reminisce while visiting, without the sadness of it having been ruined by urbanization 🥰
Beautiful park in Colville. Always kept up, clean, green, play area for kids, lots of room for gatherings.
Beautiful area for all seasons. I’ve ran here before, great running trails. They also have a great playground for kids. Beautiful in the fall when all the leaves are changing. But also beautiful in the winter, summer and of course spring. It’s usually quiet and not too busy so a perfect place if you want some peace and quiet.
My favorite park as a child growing up in the valley/chewelah area. Love the space! The trees are beautiful! Perfect amount of shade/sun.. overall very family(and pet)friendly, comfortable and enjoyable
Nice, big park with lots of mature trees. My only complaint was that most of the kids' stuff like slides and swings are in full sun for a lot of the day. Nice green grass and well-maintained splash pad. A few bees hang out there.

There's Outdoor Picnic Tables; Paved Foot/Bike Paths; Public Restrooms; Covered Eating Areas and Several Playgrounds for Children of All Ages! The whole Park is green grass! It also has BOTH a Tennis 🎾 Court and a Basketball 🏀 Court. The Seasonal Outdoor Public Swimming Pool is a comfort during the Hot Summer Months! Parking is in the Shade almost everywhere AND The Parks Department Office is ON SITE! During the ❄️ Winter Months; This Park is such a Beautiful Place to walk and let the Snow Crunch under your Shoes! Highly Recommend THIS Park for a Day of Relaxation!
This park is huge! The trees are beautiful and so are the carved wooden eagle, bears, & two other statues! Clean restrooms too
Picnic tables in the shade! Clean. Great place to take walk, bring kids to the water park or city pool next door! Horseshoes and covered gazebo areas to grill and celebrate too!
