Yardbird Table & Bar - Southern restaurant (US) in Miami Beach - 1600 Lenox Ave., USA

We made a reservation before coming here. I first found it when searching for places to eat in Miami. I saw recently that they have a location in Chicago, which makes it easier for me to try more menu items. Restaurant in Miami was very busy. Service was good. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. I got the signature chicken and waffles. Just a note, I came here when the chicken and waffles were way cheaper. Chicken was very delectable especially with the hot honey sauce. Watermelon was very fresh. Waffles were crispy and flavorful. Make sure you add that bourbon maple syrup on there.

Every time I’m in Miami, I like to visit this location. The food is ALWAYS delicious, and the staff is very nice. I got the Shrimp & Grits, which were made to perfection, incredibly flavorful. Deviled eggs to-go which were packaged neatly. Excellent location close to all the main hotels on Collins. Great brand, excellent service every time I visit, no matter what city. I would definitely recommend to friends and family, I can’t wait to go back!

Amazing food and service! Our waitress gave us a wonderful experience with her knowledge of the menu and kindness. We loved the Chicken and waffles, Iceberg Wedge Salad, and Lobster Mac & Cheese. The jam and the biscuits were so fresh and warm... absolutely delicious!

I discovered Yardbard based on a colleague's recommendation, and it turned out to be a culinary gem. The devilled eggs were a delightful start, impeccably cooked and presented. As were the fried tomatoes. The Chicken & Waffles with Honey Hot Sauce, served alongside Chilled Spiced Watermelon, was a revelation – the Vermont Sharp Cheddar Cheese Waffle and Bourbon Maple Syrup took it to another level. The chicken was the best-fried chicken I've ever had – perfectly cooked, not greasy, just perfection. The service, led by the attentive waiter Alan and the welcoming manager, made the experience even more memorable. Alan's knowledge about the food and the manager's warmth added to the stellar service. We felt completely welcomed, and I appreciated being informed about how the food was cooked. Our experience was so outstanding that we've decided to return for our last dinner in Miami this evening. Yardbird truly exceeded expectations. We visited on Tuesday, the 12th, for lunch and they offered a fixed price menu. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience! Update: Dinner didn’t disappoint either, on the contrary. Food was perfectly cooked and arrived to the table in a timely manner. Service by Rose was stellar, highly personable and very welcoming. 10/10!

Came here for dinner as it was our last night in Miami so we wanted to eat somewhere memorable. We were successful. Our waitress Lauren was awesome, very knowledgeable and attentive and just an awesome personality. That really made our experience there even better. We got there a little later than we wanted but we didn’t feel rushed at all. We enjoyed some drinks which were delicious and apps. Apps were great and came out pretty fast. We had the pea hummus, tomato salad, and pork belly. Everything was really delicious. Of course coming to yardbird you gotta get the fried chicken, and we were very happy we did. The seasoning was great and the chicken was moist and delicious. Sides we enjoyed were the corn and grits and we got an order to biscuits. For dessert the got the banana pie cheesecake to go which we enjoyed at home. I have to say, everything was very good from service to food. What a great way to end our last night in Miami!

My three-star rating is mostly for the overrated food and for how wasteful the restaurant was - we were provided with two 50ml / 1.7oz glass bottles of sauce. We hardly used any of the sauce, but they were both chucked away with the dirty plates after dining. I suppose the bottles are reused, but the content was probably cleared out and refilled. We would rather that they provide shared sauce bottles on the table, instead of this way of creating a worthless “sense of high-end”. The chicken and waffles came almost cold, and quite bland. Not delicious at all, quite a disappointment for something you would pay $50 for. The funny thing was that the waiter asked us how the food was, and we told him the chicken and waffle was served too cold. He hardly cared and only said “I’ll tell the chef”. But before giving us the bill, he started chatting and asking where we were from, blablabla, clearly aiming at getting some extra tips. From another Google review it seems that indeed this waiter needs some training in handling people's dissatisfaction. Or simply don't ask if you don't care. However, the shrimp and grits was very good!

We had a delicious time here, incredible brunch spot in Miami! Our server, Barbara, was super knowledgeable about the menu and answered all of our questions (even about our different dietary restrictions) and she made excellent food and drink recommendations! We got the chicken and waffles - BEST I’ve ever had. My fiancé got the great American burger - just delicious. The special sauce!!!! Sooooo delicious!!! The drinks were perfect. We got the deep fried Oreos for dessert (also at Barbara’s recommendation) and it was soooooooo good!! We’ll definitely be coming back every time we come to Miami!
