What a great spot to enjoy Delicious food, sweet treats and some seriously good coffee. Rocket fuel is a must try. I recommend the cinnamon walnut rugelach treats. And the breakfast wrap. So yummy

Came across this place for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed! I’ve never had a banana nut latte and it was like drink banana bread. It was a little sweeter than I like but I just added more coffee and it was perfect. The Deluxe Omelette was really good too. The stare of this meal is the sauce that comes with it. I wish I had 3 times what they gave me. It had a tangy/sweet taste that just gave it what was missing. The staff was super nice and I will definitely be coming back whenever I’m in the area.

Nice, friendly staff and good food and coffee all served in a relaxed atmosphere. Ate here twice on my short stay in Jefferson City and enjoyed my meals on both days. If you are looking for a reasonably priced meal with good service you can't go wrong.

Been to Jefferson City a handful of times and always come here for coffee and breakfast. The owner knows all of his regulars and the atmosphere is joyful. Very interesting breakfast options.

I walked in and immediately felt at home. I'm from Chicago and was visiting Jeff City for the first time on a business trip and I can't wait to go back. It's not easy finding vegetarian options for breakfast but this place had exactly what I wanted-veggies with hummus and olives. And the coffee! Oh my goodness! Seriously, it's the best coffee I have ever had! It was so good I had to buy a pound. Being that I live in Chicago I immediately started to look ahead and got sad thinking about the 6 hour drive I'll have to make for my next bag of coffee.

Absolutely delicious is the only way to describe the food and drink I had here. This was first time at Yanis Coffee Zone and will not be my last. I got the Sunrise which is comprised of biscuits, hash browns, an over easy egg and topped with gravy. Then for my drink I got their seasonal Pumpkin Latte. Honestly way better than Starbucks. I dined outside so the food was brought to me. It felt like a longish wait but that’s how I knew it was going to be hot and fresh. Which it definitely was. The person who rung me up was very helpful as well. Overall, if you are looking to support a local breakfast place I suggest you give Yanis a try!

Must say I wasn’t impressed at all, I get it’s busy due to the morning rush and holiday but it was not a friendly interaction when ordering our food. Also over heard interaction with other customers who had returned and they didn’t get a friendly reply either. My coffee was decent and food was ok. Biscuits were a bit doughy still, the gravy was decent, didn’t expect sausage chunks most have ground sausage but it was ok. My friends coffee was ok she would have liked to have a option of just milk chocolate since not everyone likes white or dark chocolate and when asked if they can make something that is on the menu but not put it all together maybe say I’m sorry but unfortunately not instead of just no because it’s busy they can’t make anything a certain way is just rude and inconsiderate. Many other restaurants and food places can and will do things like keeping it separate or not putting certain ingredients in it because the customer is paying for it. Will not be returning.

Excellent food & service. Very friendly. Best gyro I've ever had. Lamb was so moist! I had a dark chocolate chia that was excellent also. My husband had a grilled chicken greek salad that was very good.
