Yamato Japanese steakhouse - Japanese steakhouse in Martin - 172 University Plaza Dr, USA

My girlfriend and I went here for the first time yesterday and it was just the best. I got the hibachi chicken and she got the beef yakisoba. Our server was nice. We didn’t wait long for our food to be done. The food was cooked to perfection. My girlfriend said it’s best Japanese food she has ever had. They have very reasonable prices too; our bill was $29.

Went for lunch with a friend, the waitress was very sweet and checked on us regularly. The food was absolutely amazing and really cheap for the amount of food we got!

The food was pretty good. I liked my main course. New York Strip and vegetables. I did not care for the miso soup. I don't think that it was bad it was the first time I had it. The service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was rather stark and not so inviting feeling. I would go there again.

I'm really digging this place. Been three times and never left less than totally satisfied. Been there when I was only person in the building and couple times it was packed. Really clean, fast service, very very good food. With similar competition across psrkinglot. Yamato has no worries. I'll eat here atleast once a week. Maybe more.

In my (Japanese) opinion, it’s not authentic Japanese food but their service is good. I would say it’s a great Chinese (?) restaurant in this town.

Great food, great sushi. Good prices. Just don't order the Avocado Salad. It is literally 3/4 of an avocado, sliced, with NOTHING else on the plate. $5 99.

Excellent food. Service was really good as well. I had the Tennessee Roll and some Lobster Rangoon. So good. Eight of us had varying items and all left very full and happy.

The customer service was excellent from the time we stepped in the door until we left. And the food was fresh, hot and flavorful.
