Yamato is my go-to spot whenever the sushi craving hits. This location is better in terms of food quality, service, and price than Yamato II. However, the sushi itself is subpar, as you are getting what you pay for, so it's really just if you want quantity over quality. There's also a decent selection of appetizers that is included in the AYCE price; my favorite is the fried rice, but the quality is inconsistent. I recommend going for dinner to get your money's worth with the sashimi and especially the fried ice cream!! It can get quite crowded during dinner Fri-Sun, and parking can be a pain.
The food is not great. It's not terrible, but not great. It's mostly a place for college kids, keep in mind. The part that I couldn't stomach, we ordered miso soups, the waitress had her thumb in them as she put it on the table. Then when my table wanted to order more sushi, they were too busy on their cell phones. It's all you can eat, though... So that's nice. Don't expect a high end place. The tables are sticky and the place has a smell.
I had a wonderful lunch experience at this place. The server was great at explaining the menu, which helped us make our choices. The food arrived promptly, and just as we finished one dish, another one followed. The lunchtime crowd was not too overwhelming, and the atmosphere was delightful. The food itself was incredibly delicious, making for a truly satisfying lunch experience.
It’s my favorite restaurant ever !!! The salmon is so fresh , all food is fresh the service is not 5 stars, but it’s okay.
Very authentic Sushi and yaki udon is the best I've had since I moved to the States. I was planning to go to Kura sushi, but I'm glad I chose Yamato instead.
It’s hard to give all you can eat sushi anything but five stars because, you know, all you can eat. The sashimi was good and the fish was fresh but the rolls were a bit of a mess. Probably because the place is so popular and so packed, the chefs have a hard time keeping up. But $30 for all you can eat weekday sushi so it’s worth a visit.
A decent all-you-can-eat sushi place in the city. Its dinner price has increased to $32.99 per person, and tips are included in the bill, so be careful not to over pay (that happened to us which is frustrating). Service can be slow on crowded days, but generally the staff will do the bare minimum to assist you. As for the food, everything tastes decent. I do like their appetizers, particularly the grilled teriyaki salmon and steak. The sashimi tasted fresh, though a bit cold. The rolls taste decently too but the special rolls cost an extra $1.5 per roll, which is pricey imo. I do like the place for their AYCE option and the space is big enough for big groups. Though the lighting can be brighter and it could be cleaned up a bit as there are a lot of random stuff lying in the corner.
Yamato is a long time favorite. Nearly 10 years since we discovered them and we keep going back! We had dinner a while back that was not up to the quality we usually expected, so did not go back for a while. Lunch recently was top-notch. Pricing has gone up but not by a lot. AYCE prices are up $10 from 2020. FYI. That’s a general trend as things increase everywhere, so no problem. Quality was good, our waitress was awesome, and their selection has not changed. Just as bountiful as usual for AYCE. Enjoy!
Been taking lessons with Ed and Jon for a few months and it has been one of the best choices I've made. Great environment with friendly people from different backgrounds, age groups and skillsets. It's been some of the most challenging and rewarding
LOVE!! Came here for âbrunchâ while visiting my youngest and enjoyed every single item. We had the farmhand sammy, fried avocado tacos and loaded togarashi fries. Literally a party of flavors! The vibe was super chill and very bistro. We also ha
Great, Reasonably Priced Gym. I just got a membership about a month ago after 2 years at planet fitness. Happy to say I've enjoyed everything so far! It's definitely worth the cost in my opinion, especially when you include the classes (spin, pilate
I tried the Korean fried cauliflower, bacon cheeseburger egg rolls, ribeye steak tacos, and fish tacos. Food: The Korean fried cauliflower was delicious, fried with a sweet garlic soy sauce, served with some mild gochujang sauce on the side. If you
Great prices and selection. This place is the ultimate cheap diner in Boston! Bonus points for their delicious grilled muffins and their participation on the Too Good To Go app.
