What a beautiful park! We have had our family reunion there twice now, and it's the perfect place to have it! It's all on level ground just off the highway and easy to access from the parking lot. There are two pavilions overlooking the lake, with a playground on one side and the bathrooms on the other. There is a beach with lifeguards and a section on the beach for dogs, too!
The park is very good. Plenty of booths and grills. Beautiful lake in between. The cool thing is it also have a skate board ring. It could be a little more developed if kept more clean. In our last visit we found few garbage lying near side of picnic tables which were still lying there today. This place needs a little more attention in regard of trash picking or else it is a very best place in town. A small play area for kids. I really like the beauty of this place.
Family fun for all skate park on site basketball hoop park for the kids a pavilion pond for fishing that contains northern pike, smallmouth bass, largemouth, bass, perch, catfish trout, and a creek along the side, beautiful walking trail so if you’re looking to get some steps in stop on down and enjoy BBQ grills on site, benches and tables covered to protect you from the elements. Restroom on site swimming when lifeguards are on duty free admission.
So beautiful and nostalgic... So many memories... I miss you Dad! Thank you for the memories and showing me the way to be a man. Just BC I didn't show it, I loved you and always listened even through my hard head and our stubbornness... Thank you!
We love coming here it's perfect size for little kids. The playground is shaded which you don't usually see. A bunch of picnic tables and grills.
Lots of room to park. Bathroom was clean and had toilet. No garbage on the beach, it was clean. Play ground was safe and people were friendly on the day we went. Picnic tables are under a pavilion, clean and well kept. Safe place for all .
Always a great place for children to play and for family picnics, fishing, swimming, feeding the ducks and geese, etc. I would have given 5 stars except bathroom facilities are not available year round and were not available at all during the pandemic (not even port-a-johns) and the playground is in need of some updates and repairs. There is nylon coated cable rope that has wire fibers poking out and the children poke their hands, handles are broken on the teeter totter and they could really use some rubber matting instead of gravel on the ground....Im curious if the wood portion of the playground is the carcinogenic type that was removed from other playgrounds
Beautiful little park with a lake beach and river all in one! Looks like an excellent fishing spot, place to exercise, relax and enjoy the view, and there is a skatepark! There are several sheltered picnic tables with nice charcoal grills!!!! There is also a boat launch for access to the Tioughnioga River.
Service is excellent. Employees know their menu, which makes making drinks super fast. Coffee (cold and hot) as well as tea are made to your liking. We were happily surprised with service and taste of our drinks. We stopped two days in a row for the
