The food was delicious! My spouse and I got the chicken shawarma wrap and fries and the chicken shawarma bowl. The veggies were so fresh and crisp! The chicken was juicy and fresh! The fries were crispy and the perfect texture! And to top it all off, the staff were friendly, helpful and so generous! They gave us HUGE portion sizes. We could eat the left overs for days, I kid you not. We will definitely be back. You should go support this local restaurant ASAP!
I have been going to Yalla for several months now, and I am convinced it has the best and freshest food in the SW area. I have had food catered, eaten there and ordered take out. Everything is great, but perhaps the highlights for me are the spicy green hummus, red pepper hummus, chickpeas and lentils, traditional steak wraps and the Jerusalem salad. Both rice options are extremely flavorful. I don’t find the spicy rice too spicy like their spicy sauces. The habanero sauce is unlike any other hot sauce I have ever had.
I always look forward to making up a reason or errand to drive twenty minutes to go to Yalla.
Just tried this place for the first time and everything had so much flavor! We really enjoyed our bowls and the staff was extremely friendly and personable. Would highly recommend.
This restaurant food was amazing . I catered their food for my brothers birthday. Everyone loved it. Loved all meats, both rice, salad, and hummus. I will definitely be coming back.
LOVE this place. The man at the counter is super nice. We arrived right before he was closing on NYE, and he was happy to serve us. Gave us extra chicken in our bowls and a free baklava. Can’t beat that service! The ingredients are visibly fresh and taste amazing too. The chicken is moist and flavorful.
I was searching for authentic Koshairy for a very long time until I found it here. The Koshairy was amazing and authentic and Mahmoud was amazing to talk to.

Came here with my wife for a nice lunch/dinner out after work. Ample parking made it easy to get in and out, though to be honest I didn't want to leave. I asked the gentleman at the counter for some recommendations, and he didn't disappoint!
My wife and I each had the Chicken Shawarma, mine spicy and hers not spicy. We chose the bowls so we could customize our order. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The spicy bowl had a mild kick, which I enjoyed. We split a bowl of the Lentil soup, which was hot and creamy. I enjoyed the aroma when I popped off the lid, and it had flavor to match. Eager to try a little bit of everything, we also split an order of the Baba Ghanouj, which was different but delicious. And of course, we couldn't possibly consider our order complete without Falafel. Probably some of the best I've tried.
Overall, a very wonderful experience. The place was clean, the staff was friendly, the food was amazing, and most importantly, my wife was happy. I will definitely recommend to friends and family.
Happy we finally have one these gems in the New Lenox area !!! Had the steak shawarma, tender and flavorful. Vegies were fresh . The hummus was rich and creamy. Quick service. In and out in minutes!

Great staff and good options! Came on a Revolution Brewing release night. I sat at the bar and had a blast! The staff was more than accommodating. Lots of people but not overbearing. Very comfortable crowd. Friendly people, good beers, relaxing time!

Went over the weekend and as we were walking up you can smell the fresh tortilla chips! Food and staff were amazing! As a vegetarian I was happy to see a meatless taco option as well as sides and quesadillas. Definitely didnât leave hungry!!
